Talking Dark Paladin Deck

This is basically a cross between the old deck that I had and a Dragon deck. I don't think of it as more than a good prototype that I started when I got the Dark Paladin, so it still needs a lot of improvement that I cant do 'cause I DONT HAVE ENOUGH CARDS!!!! Anyway I just joined up and I hope you all have some good suggestions to improve this deck.

My Dark Paladin Deck!

Dark Hole
Monster Reborn
Mystic Plasma Zone
Swords of Revealing Light
Premature Burial
Remove Trap

58 cards is way too many. you should have atleast 10 less. I suggest taking out some traps and some of your high level monsters and some of the lower level monsters. Then you might want to add some other magic cards

this deck is huge

try cuttin back on some of the monsters...maybe even make it easier on yourselve to focus more on one or the other between DM or BB...having to try to tribute for both of em could too costly...try considering some of the fusion material swaps like King of the Swamp or some others.

Okay, I haven't played in a while, but even I know that some stuff here has got to go. Here are my tips:

1.) NEVER USE BOTH HALVES OF THE PALADIN COMBO. As I've said, I don't play anymore, but I've said this to so many people that I will remember it until the day I die. Use fusion subs, especially King of the Swamp.

2.) Your only high-level stuff should be the fusion material you pick and maybe Jinzo (or did he get banned/outdated?)- everything else has to go.

3.) Use strong dragons. My old rule of thumb was that anything without an effect and weaker than 1800 had to go. Koumori Dragon was NEVER good.

4.) Too many traps. Just stick to essential stuff like Waboku and stuff that directly supports your strategy or you simply can't live without. Same goes for Magic. Become VERY familiar with the term "staple" and its many definitions.

Sorry I can't help you more. Good luck with Paladin- a well-built deck based on him is a blast.

Try this Paladin idea! Of course, you will need to attain the required cards first. I also suggest the Dark Magician route with some low level dragons for boosting Dark Paladin.

Monsters: 16

Jinzo
3x Dark Magician
3x King of the Swamp
2x Luster Dragon
2x Spear Dragon
Cyber Jar
Fiber Jar
Sangan
Witch of the Black Forest
Sinister Serpent

Spells: 18

3x Polymerization
2x Nobleman of Crossout
Diffusion-Wave Motion
Painful Choice
Dark Hole
Raigeki
Harpie's Feather Duster
Pot of Greed
Graceful Charity
Change of Heart
Monster Reborn
Heavy Storm
Snatch Steal
Premature Burial
The Forceful Sentry

Traps: 6

Mirror Force
Call of the Haunted
Imperial Order
Magic Cylinder
Torrential Tribute
Ring of Destruction

Fusions: 3
3x Dark Paladin

PS: Maybe find room for some Skilled Dark Magicians for the DM factor. That is all.

58 is not too many cards to have in a deck if you are not the sort of person who likes to finish thier opponent off quickly,
as for me i have 60 cards in my deck and i win 90% of the time, the only time i lose is to my friend that removes things from play.
so in short put in as many cards as you need but 60 should be the absolute max in a deck

Try to narrow down on the high level monsters. i had a deck similar to yours but i could'nt put any of my monsters on the field. also, try to keep the number of cards in your deck around 40. or else you won't be able to carry out your strategy to the field. other than that your deck can really kick butt!
