This is a deck I made for my sister, obviously it is not the best. I took all the "best" cards for my deck hehe. But the point of this deck is to get Sceptile out and start dealing big damage with leaf blast. While Sceptile is sitting active, Raichu is being powered up with electric energy, and it has a bench shield on it. Bench shields are pretty helpful, seeing as I run Gengar LV X against her lol. And as I said, I took most of the good cards, and I really just want to use cards from the new set, but old cards are fine too. What should I do to fix it? DO NOT SUGGEST CLAYDOL.

Any suggestions? I was thinking about taking out the raichu line for a 3-2-1 Luxray line. The only Luxray I have is from POP8 though.....

Oh most definitely! Specially if you throw in 4 of the Master Belts! 80 damage for 3 energy with Master Belt equipped and 120 damage when you do the extra for the removal of Master Belt! Its an excellent combo if your Luxray is about to fall... That way you can take out a Pokemon while losing the risk of your opponent taking 2 prizes next turn!

You might want to look in to running the Raticates from Arceus, too. For 1 Energy and a Pokemon Tool card they do 20+ 40 damage. And if that's a Master Belt equipped... It comes out to 80 damage for 1 energy!

Yea! I haven't seen the Luxray, so I I didn't know about it. I only have 1 Raticate and no Rattatas lol..... But I will try and get some. No master belts either haha.

Sceptile from GE for his PokeBody of 1 Grass Energy = 2 for your Grass Pokemon!

The Luxray doesn't get 120 from using Expert belt because it is discarded before damage is dealt, so no bonus on that turn unfortunately, better to use Lucky egg in that case. Tangrowth SF and Lv X for the win! Love the healing pokebody aligned with a healing power and the energy return rules with Sceptile GE, expecially if you also use Venusaur SV. If you use Venusaur, then maybe add one or two from SW as well to power his second attack with their condition-causing powers from the bench for major pain! WOOOT!

Luxray does get 120 from Expert Belt. Don't try and rules lawyer out of that. I know there's an example in the Compendium of attacks working like that (I think it's Crash Chant vs. Buffer Piece, though I've been wrong before).
