    Default instants vs teferi, mage of zhalfir

    if my opponent plays char and in response i also play teferi, mage of zhalfir. what will happen to char?

    it resolves ! Teferi wasnt in play when it was played. thats the key word there.

    They already played it, so nothing much happens to the Char. Just like Orim's Chant, he's not a counter.

    In this case the interaction was relatively straightforward, but we should wait until the the set is released with FAQs before toying around withe preview card interactions.

    This card is pretty straightforward and so is the question and the information was released by wizards so I doubt that there's any reason to believe that this card would create any interactions that aren't already covered in the CR.
