I still can't agree on Reform the League. Your hand just empties to quickly, especially if you can't get to 1 of your 3 or 4 Mr. Mxy's. However, I will offer up that Disband the League may be decent. Ted and Booster will eventually get stunned and need to be KO'd so why not use them as a power-up and gain a little bit of your hand for other effects? Thoughts? I honestly don't know how good it would be, just throwing that out there.

Agreed. Reform the League is not underrated. The article complains about it too much for it to actually be underrated. Disband the League, a card that gives power-ups AND gets cards into the Good Guy's hand is underrated.

I really don't think Goodguys won't be running Monitor Womb. It stops both Lobotomy and Multiverse. To not be running that when every deck is honestly going to be tweaked to win the Goodguys matchup is kind of stupid. By running 1 card you can negate the only disruption to your strategy in format.

I thought that at first too, but after some good testing last night, thanks LordTC, I've found it's not that good. MWS takes the place of pumps or at the very least JLI Embassy and pumps are definitely needed. If somebody Lobotomizes you you don't have to power-up with NtH and the pumps should be enough to get you over the hump anyways.

Um, they're going to Lobotomize you how with MWS flipped?

When I read his post I notice that he was testing without MWS.

I noticed that, but with MWS, Lobotomy isn't a worry. Your pumps will work all the time at their standard levels, rather than the potential +2/+1 with Lobotmy flipped face up (assuming Katar and Booster are both on the field, of course, and an upcurve swing). One card shuts down Lobotomy, meaning your pumps are, on average, +1/+2, instead of the Lobotomy-affected +0/+1.

I dont know. I just feel that Disband the League isnt as superior to Reform the League. Maybe its just cause I play 4 Mxys and 3 Straights in my version and the discard doesnt effect me as much. I really dont feel like boucning my board is an optimal play. I can bounce my 1 drop no problem, but when I have to bounce Booster is where I have issues.

Essentally, your going to Disband the League maximum twice per game, where as with Reform you could Reform at least 3-4 times.

As far as MWS goes, I really dont feel it has a spot. You would be taking out either A. Tutor Effects or B. Powerup effects. It does ensure some matchups I guess, but I dont think you could fit it. Perhaps some one could show me a list where you use MWS in it, so I can see how it differs from my build...

Oh...The article was supposed to be "underrated" and "tech" cards...not just underrated ones, sorry if you guys though everything was supposed to be "underrated"

Any suggestions on how it could have been better or things like that would be appreciated. Thank you to all that have posted so far

The point is, MWS takes the place of some pumps and or other cards that are more useful to the overall function of the deck. Monitor Womb Station isn't effective in all situations either.
