Just in case anyone wanted to know. The 4 variant cars in the SOI Special Edition Boxes are as follows.


Acid Trap Hole
Riryoku
Mesmeric Control
Windstorm of Etaqua

Those cards suck, but the Mesmeric Control will be nice to have.

i dunno riryoku is a nice attack changing card and will definately be my trade bait this time round (TLM being CED)

I like Windstorm. It's ok. I mean it's not game changing or anything but it's still a nice card.

Wow, they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for these special edition cards. I guess that I was just expecting something a bit more... playable.
I am shocked and amazed, however, that none of those promos have ANYTHING to do with E-Heros.

thats true. All these new packs revovle around e-heros yet the promos have nothing to do with them. Now their just reprinting promos as ...... promos.

I guess the looked at old promos and chose the once they thought where good ones and reprinted them for more people to have.

There are much better game promos they could have reprinted though.
Metalmorph, for example, or Harpie's Pet Dragon, or Dark Magician Knight, or something else cool like that that's at least fun to collect. These for are just... meh. Nobody really cares about these four cards now, nor did they back when they were first printed.
