I know, but his version is Invincible, not "The [adjective] [character]" like i was saying.

I'm surprised not much has been said about Iceman. Great stats, killer ability, decent art... and it's Iceman! He makes jokes and freezes people! He can waste your opponent's board if you play him right, and have all your guys ready still.

Sebastian Shaw. Big 7-drop, 2 attacks for the price of 2 lowly henchmen (who can be stunned). Great art, great flavor text, great card.

The best cards have to be Donald Pierce, Shaw Industries, Sebastain Shaw, and Power Play. If you take the even turns you will be unstoppable. On turn 6 Donald, with the help of Shaw Industries, can be 16/16. On turn 7 you use power play to take initiative then let Donald take out your opponents 7 drop leaving Shaw attack their 6 drop then attack directly for 16.

Well, IMO for limited,

(3) Xorn. With his insanely powerful ability, he becomes a prime target for your opponent and if he doesn't have enough characters with flight on the board, his attack will be predictable. Also, with the abundent amount of recovery cards for the X-Men and Turnabout, your opponent will have an even harder time trying to get rid of him.

(4) Usually i go for Roberto if Sentinel Mark VI isn't available. With lots of characters in the 3-5 resource pts range being a mutant, his ability triggers quite often.

(5) I'll go for Stonewall for this drop. Some people say he isn't that good, cos for his ability to work you have to attack a 3 drop and usually they reinforce. But that's the point. If your opponent doesn't form his characters well, he WILL reinforce and thus 1 attacker less to worry about. In limited, being able to attack on your opponent's initiative is important and Stonewall stops that from happening. His 10 def means most 3 drops and some 4 drops won't stun him while he's attacking.

(6) Iceman, Blob, Spiral are all good but so is Mystique. Her 11 atk does look quite horrible, but making your Stonewall 12 atk and your Roberto 11 atk isn't too shabby.

Best characters? 8 drop Hellfire Club Phoenix is cool, Leech is good and so is Xorn. There are a lot more good characters in this set than average - bad ones.
