The pair of Puddingcess are there because she wants them there. To answer your question, they are mostly special summoned, and normally beefed up to 2300 ATK, so getting the effect off is a rather simple matter.

I suppose thats true, I keep forgetting to factor in her extra 800 atk into my calculations.
