Default Achronus Golem -- Creature Golem

    5/5

When Achronus Golem comes into play for each that you pay, put a 1/1 artifact creature token into play.

: Sacrifice an artifact creature token to put a -1/-1 counter on target creature.

Deathgrip--2 (when creature is put into graveyard from play, opponent chooses and sacrifices a creature for each Deathgrip ability.)

--Its a sad world when you find out you are worth more dead than you are alive--

    Achronus Golem XX4BRG
    Creature - Golem
    5/5

Deathgrip 2 (Whenever this creature is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, target opponent sacrifices two creatures.)
When Achronus Golem enters the battlefield, put X 1/1 Golem artifact creature tokens onto the battlefiend.
Sacrifice a token artifact creature: Put a -1/-1 counter on target creature.

Its a sad world when you find out you are worth more dead than you are alive.

    This card is a mess.

    1) Is this supposed to be an Artifact Creature too? Most Golems are.
    2) 7 mana is ridiculous to spend already, so no one will ever be spending 9 mana for this plus a 1/1.
    3) The sac ability is pointless, since you won't ever really make that many token creatures, and unless you use Thopter Foundry or Nuisance Engine.
    4) I don't understand the flavor text, since the card you designed has very little to do with anything being dead.

What were you thinking of wanting to design when you made this card? Make something a little more simple and you'll have a much more interesting card than Alotsacombos

    1) The order of Mana Symbols in a cost is
    - X
    - Colorless mana
    - Color mana based on their relationship to the WUBRG cycle.

    2) You don't need the "-" after Deathgrip and before the 2. In fact, the mechanic requires the number there, so the mechanic is actually "Deathgrip 2"

    3) Mana, Tap: Effect

    4) Don't need the 0 in the cost of the Sac ability. The "Sacrifice an artifact token:" is good enough.

    5) Put the name of the creature in the text box, not the title of the thread.

    6) It's much better, though it still is all over the place.

    Ooh, so many questions...

    1. Why is it ?
    2. Why is a Golem not an artifact creature?
    3. Why is it a Shapeshifter? What is it supposed to be?
    4. Do you think all those abilities will fit on a card?

It looks like you're trying to fit all your favorite designs onto a single card.

Ok Hopefully the latest revision makes it more clear. I did away with the red and green added blue for the flying effect and another black to the casting cost. I also removed shapeshifter (since it didn't quite make any sense anyway.) I did however keep the black ability because I think it's what makes the card stand out.
