Thragtusk drops the token into play on leaving the battlefield, not on dying.
What do you guys think? Is there enough here for a deck? O-ringing your own stuff sucks a little.
The idea is really funny, and I like it, but I think it's far too fragile - the combo is vulnerable to nearly everything (counters, kill/bounce the tusk in response to Worldfire, etc.), so you'd have to add another color (likely blue) to make it resilient, but even that doesn't seem to help enough.
