    @vger

    I was thinking about taking out 2 forests (so i would have 22 forest) for 2 Revenge of the Hunted. Does this sound like a bad decision and/or what would be some good cards to take out for Revenge of the Hunted?

    With some consideration and this link...Starcitygames.......this deck looks like there is an immediate potential with Revenge of the Hunted. I will put that in the deck and take out the 2 Phyrexian Metamorph. the link doesnt work but whatever. the deck had 3 Revenge of the Hunted and the deck got 3rd at a regional.

    @Th3MagicPlayer,

    If possible, try not to go below 24 forests.

    I am unsure why most players would always try to compromise by cutting lands, unless of course they are playing a very very low curve. However as it stands, this build does need around 24-25 lands to really function better. Even if you were to be drawing forests for later turns, it wouldn't actually hurt as bad as it would for most aggressive decks - Those extra forests would act as mini-pump spells for your Dungrove Elder anyway.

    While I agree with most of what Mr. Vger has written here, great advice, there are some points where we disagree, as it always happens when humans collide. This is my suggested decklist:

    2xPhyrexian Metamorph
    1xAcidic Slime
    1xThrun, the Last Troll
    1xViridian Corrupter
    1xBirds of Paradise
    4xDungrove Elder
    4xLlanowar Elves
    1x Viridian Emissary
    1x Predator Ooze
    4x Strangleroot Geist
    1x Wolfir Silverheart
    1x Thragtusk
    1x Borderland Ranger

    Enchantments
    4xRancor

    Land
    22x Forest

    Planeswalkers
    1x Garruk, Primal Hunter

    Spells
    4x Green Sun's Zenith
    2x Dismember
    2x Revenge of the Hunted
    2x Sword of War and Peace

    If you want to go 22 lands, you have to include Emissary and Ranger. Sword of War and Peace is too great to be left behind for monogreen imo, and it works great with Rancor. I would play 4 btw, suggesting 2 for you to try it. Not a fan of Ulvendwald Tracker, too weak, slow and defensive for monogreen aggro, but I guess it works nice sometimes.

    I came 2-2 with my deck that has been updated, using 24 forests, and not even having the good cards in the side board. i only had 1 Dungrove Elder because of the shop didnt have them. i Misplayed too! so i could have gone 3-1 and topped!!!!

    @Th3MagicPlayer,

    Well Dungrove Elder does play a crucial role in the archetype, do get a playset asap for it if possible. Here's hoping that you could do better for your next Magic event with this archetype!

    However, I think more graveyard hate than just 2 Ground Seal is necessary. I would seriously consider having a couple of Surgical Extractions (which sadly don't combo with Ground Seal) or Nihil Spellbomb to help. Alternately, playing the full set of Seal in the side.
    I agree with you 100%. I can't decide what I like more, Fightclub or just Stomp. With out the Tracker and Ooze, Champion of Lambholt makes and absolutely awesome addition. With Rancor slammed on a Champion nearly everything will be unblockable. It is crazy how fast I have been able to end games with her, Delver is not the best match up to drop her but she can just get sent to the side. Anyone have any thoughts on the Champion for this deck?

    In the version I play, I also include two Ring of Kalonia. The rings add for that extra trample effect so you aren't solely relying on Rancor and they have a LOT of synergy with Champion and other creatures.

    Champion does sound like a good addition, but idk about ring. Yes it adds more about the versatile but i think Revenge of the Hunted is better. I dont know this is just my opinion. Anyone else?
