Swingy. I like it though.

This idea of this card is really cool, and I'm under the impression coin-flipping is part of your set, but I'm curious what you plan to do with it to make it more appealing to players. There are several cards that are powerful for their cost, but require coin flipping and see no play because of their variance. This card is the epitome of that in that it can essentially be "Draw 7" for 3 or One with Nothing. Granted neither of those is overly likely, but just when we thought Miracles introduced too much variance into the game...
I'm not trying to be harsh (and I apologize if I am), I just want to know more about how coin flipping is going to appeal to all player demographics when it is something that Spikes (and to some point Johnny's due to the lack of control) have avoided like the plague in the past.

I would have liked to add something like Krark's Thumb to the set, but it doesn't seem likely that Krark lost two thumbs on different planes. Right now I'm trying to come up with designs that make coin flipping more appealing, but I'm not finding much luck. The best I could come up with is the card Scavenger's Intuition in the enchantment section.
EDIT: I could make a card that triggers upon you losing a coin flip, for example:
Transient Idealist
Creature-Human Rogue Nomad
Whenever you lose a coin flip, you may counter up to one target activated or triggered ability.
2/1
Im not fully sure if this works. If an activated or triggered ability requires you to flip a coin, can it be countered after the coin has been flipped?

I don't think what you are suggesting works. If you have flipped the coin, the ability has already resolved and thus you cannot counter it.
I do like the idea of making some cards that benefit from losing coin flips though. That way, you can flip coins and get some benefit either way. For comparison, Huntmaster of the Fells / Ravager of the Fells gives you benefits regardless of which way it flips, which is the drawback of most werewolves (being much worse when human).
The House
Enchantment
Whenever you lose a coin flip, put a counter on ~.
If you would flip a coin, you may Remove a counter from ~. If you do, flip two coins instead and ignore one.
The house always wins.
Just a thought. Or:
Violent Gambler
Creature - Human Rouge
Wither
Whenever you lose a coin flip, ~ deals 1 damage to each creature.
2/2
I'm not sure if persist would work in your set, it was just an idea to make the damage effect more flavorful by having him remain injured and be a Liability if he keeps gambling.
Hope this helps

That definitely helps. I didn't think my design would work out, that's a shame. If a coin flipping set did come out, the Transient Idealist would be an auto include in any Spike coin deck.
If having positive effects triggering on losing coin flips is the only way to reverse-or at least diminish-the drawback, I'll have to settle with that then. The House is a very good design. Would you mind if I used it or something similar?

That does make more sense, but at the moment I'm considering doing +1/+1 counters and bringing back Reinforce as a returning mechanic. It's a good outer-set design though. I'll keep looking for ways to lower coin drawbacks, but right now the House seems like a very viable card.
