On one hand, its a Zealous Conscript for the hand, on the other hand, is there any instant and sorcery you really want to copy in the format besides Ponder and maybe Temporal Mastery?

I mean in almost every decks there are options:

Frites: Faithless Looting, Unburial Rites
Delver: Ponder, Thought Scour, Lingering Soul, Gut Shot, Gitaxian Probe
U/W human: Ponder, Gather the Townsfolk, Gut Shot
R/G Wolf Run: Bonfire of the Damned (for 0), Pillar of Flame
Ramp: Bonfire of the Damned (for 0), Pillar of Flame, Rampant Growth

(I been out of the loop for a good two weeks since my last post due to finals)

Sure, it can waste a Bonfire of the Damned or a Entreat the Angels.... but other than that, not really much.....

But then in a M13 format, we might be seeing a return on Mono Black control

so we could be using Duress, Doom Blade, Go for the Throat, Geth's Verdict, Barter in Blood, Black Sun's Zenith (for 0), Sign in Blood, and Killing Wave (for 0)

Maybe a U/W control deck with Downpour and Feeling of Dread to tap their blockers if they have any.....

Frites and other reanimator can play Rise to the Grave as well in addition to Unburial Rites

Ramps will gain Farseek in place of Growth once that rotates out probably if we don't have another ramp spell in Return to Ravnica.....

Against RDW, you can get their Pillar of Flame, Incinerate, maybe if they play with Krenko's Command, Searing Spear, and Magmaquake (for 0) and even Volcanic Geyser (for 0)

So, it really depends on what deck will rise and fall within the next few months in all honesty......
