    Default Safe zone ruling

If I use Safe Zone on my opponents dragonfly while equipped with gigamantis and the sword, then i use Magic Planter on my Safe Zone, does he still get the ss eff of gigamantis.
also the same scenario, but my opponent chains Trap Stun to Magic Planter, we ruled it as it negates Safe Zone, but I am not sure because Safe Zone is no longer on the field anymore for Trap Stun to negate because Magic Planter sends as a cost.

gigamantis has to be sent to the grave while equipped, in the first scenario gigamantis will not ss anything as it was not sent to grave while equipped to anything. Scenario 2, Magic Planter sends Safe Zone to the grave as a cost, Trap Stun can only affect face up trap cards, therefore Trap Stun does absolutely nothing

Trap Stun negates "effects of Trap Cards", not Trap Cards. This is important to make the distinction because I can activate Threatening Roar, you chain Trap Stun, I activate MST to destroy Threatening Roar, the chain resolves with MST taking out Roar, but the 'effect' is still on the field and Trap Stun will negate the effect of Roar.

In the case of Safe Zone, since its already face-up and active, if you tribute or send it as a cost for a card effect, the Continuous Effect is no longer applied when it is removed from the field, and that is why Trap Stun would have no affect.
