Mono Black Control

I have always been a fan of mono black control decks. In fact, every time when a new set comes out and one rotates out in standard, I would attempt to built mono black control.

I will agree that black isn't that impressive overall in this set. There are some cards I do like such as Demonic Taskmaster, Descent into Madness (I am not sure if this can find a home here), and also Demon of Ashmouth (which I am playtesting in another deck). Sure, I do wish the Taskmaster is slightly more impressive (like a 3 for a 5/4 or a 4/4) but I will try to work with what I got.

The sideboard is pretty much generally color splash with phyrexian mana to give me an extra way to deal with things and also hand disruption.

RATCHET BOMB MAIN DECK

rest seems fine, I like the 4 Tezzeret's Gambit, I think you have too much spot removal, perhaps 4 Distress main? My version isnt too far from yours, only I play 3 Ratchet Bomb, 4 Distress and 2 Despise instead of some spot removal. I love Gitaxian Probe, and it doesnt bother me here at all, but its much better suited for an aggro deck imo.
