    It's Not A Miracle
    Instant

    Split Second.

For the rest of this game, and for all future games played with amongst players of this game, cards cannot be cast using their miracle ability mana costs.

Phasing, fading, and suspend should all be in the new block.

This would make a nice enchantment with phasing.

Needs to have Fading, Vanishing, Cumulative Upkeep, and "Remove a time counter from [CARDNAME]: Proliferate, then if you didn't add an age counter to [CARDNAME] this way, sacrifice it unless you exile a phased-out creature with converted mana cost less than or equal to [CARDNAME]'s power."

    Now we're talking real design.

I think that may be a tad too much for a single card

you forgot rule number 1 of un- cards: they have to actually be funny

i do agree the mechanic itself is rather lame

You kidding? It's genius. It requires so much planning of how you play out your turns (and decks!).

Ding ding ding. Card versions of "I hate [mechanic]" aren't funny, generally.

    Miracle isn't entirely lame, anyways.
Is now using Dragon speech recognition software. It is very sweet.

For what it's worth, I had a lot of fun playing with it at the prerelease events. I didn't really find myself in situations where people wouldn't have had the mana for its straight cost very often, so it wasn't really all that unfair.

And they just look so cool. Drawing one was actually pretty exciting.

That little arrow part of the name text box is highly unnecessary, but yea, looks cool.

Though I spent turn after turn making sure I looked at the top card after force of habit caused me to always just throw the draw into my hand. The one turn I stopped caring about making sure I drew correctly, I get my sole miracle Thunderous Wrath in hand that would have ended the game right there and then. :I

Probably only the special card boarder will keep it from being brought back in a new set. That said, let's make an un-card about special art popping out of the card boarders. wait...

It took a sec to make the habit stick, but getting in the habit of putting your hand down before you draw is probably a good idea. I try not to touch my hand when I'm done reading ti anyway.
