Explantation of the Deck and how it works:

This deck is pure control, focused on drawing tons of free cards as to always have an out to your opponent's field. Three cards, which I call the Oracle Engine, have amazing synergy that allows me free cards every turn: Convulsion of Nature, Archfiend's Oath, and Gishki Diviner.

Having any 2 of these cards allows me 1 draw every turn. Gishki Diviner and Archfiend's Oath each have an effect that lets me declare a card once per turn, and if it is the top card of my deck, add it to my hand. If I guess wrong, Diviner returns it to the top of my deck, while Oath sends it to the graveyard.

Convulsion of Nature flips both player's decks upside-down as long as it remains on the field. This allows me to know the top card of my deck to declare with Oath and Diviner, and net free draws, while also allowing me to see what my opponent draws and prepare accordingly.

Archfiend's Oath and Gishki Diviner also work together to give me an extra card every turn. I can declare any card with Gishki Diviner, reveal it and place it back on top of my deck. Then I can use Archfiend's Oath (or another Diviner) to declare the card now that I know what it is, and add to my hand.

Deep Sea Diva allows for Tuning when needed, or a Gachi Gachi play, but mainly acts as a method to consistently get the Oracle engine working, as it can summon Gishki Diviner from the deck.

Mist Valley Falcon reuses cards like Fiendish Chain and Swords of Revealing Light, allows me to kill opposing monsters by attaching Safe Zone to them and bouncing it, and works with the Oracle engine by allowing the reuse of Deep Sea Diva for more Gishki Diviner Summons, bouncing Archfiend's Oath or Gishki Diviner for an extra use under Convulsion of Nature, and even bouncing Convulsion itself to add a degree of control over my opponent's draws.

Lastly, the Jurrac Engine gives me access to arguably the best Xyz Monsters to date, the Evolzar Dragons, and allow me to keep pressure on my opponent despite the low monster count. It makes for a great turn 1 play when going 2nd, and the fact that Jurrac Guaiba doesn't have to send the monster to the grave allows me to use it even while disrupting opponents with Dimensional Fissure, and take advantage of the plethora of Tokens in Synchrocentric decks. It also takes huge advantage over common turn 1 plays including Tour Guide and the Agent of Mystery Earth. Lastly, Guiba and Velo both get me a monster when they crash with Reborn Tengu, which keeps the troublesome card from generating too much advantage for my opponent.

I really like this deck. I'm not to sure about the low monster count, but if it works for you, go with it. This is probably one of the most interesting decks I've seen in a while.

Thanks. The low monster count occasionally bites me, but I recycle my monster with oh F!sh and Fish and Swaps, and have so many traps that it's difficult for my opponent to reliably clear my monsters. Once I get a monster or two (especially a Diva), I usually don't have any problems keeping a monster on the field for the rest of the game. Then it's just poking away, 1200 at a time with diviner (or 2200 at a time with catastor).

I love this deck..having played against it a few times around our local area...bats of course being the pilot. I fell in love with it. The only issue is the lack of monsters when you would have won with it.
Starvation, Dehydration, and Netdecking are the top 3 things everyone should avoid.

This deck is amazing. I've been testing it on Dueling Network (which is actually rather difficult as there's no effective way of using Convulsion of Nature) and it's ridiculous how quickly the deck is able to gain large hand and field advantage. As far as changes to the deck go, I think a third Convulsion of Nature may be needed. I know it's a dead draw when you already have one on the field but the sooner you get it out, the more cards you're able to draw... Also, for the same reason of getting convulsion quicker, you could thin the deck down a bit by getting rid of Soul Release and fish and swaps. I've yet to find a situation where either of them have been useful. Nevertheless, this is a great deck. ^_^

soul release is a back-up for when i don't have d-fissure turn 1 and i need to make my fish s/t live, but it could possibly go. Fish and swaps is one of the best spells in the deck, though, and there is no way I'm taking it out, I've even considered bumping it to 3. It allows me to synchro my diva and diviner into catastor and immediately grab them back to hand, tossing out a dead card (which there are a bunch of once the deck is set up, due to the massive continuous lineup). It relies on having Dimensional Fissure up early, but that usually happens.

As for DN, I have the deck on there, but haven't done any matches with people i didn't know. Our general rule for it is to shuffle, then play with the top card banished, as it's the closest thing to flipping the deck over that I can manage.

I'll think about the 3rd convulsion... I've opened double convulsion before, and it isn't fun, but the ability to have it more consistently is nice...

the only thing I'd like to try in here would be judgement of anubis to ensure oath or convulsion do not get frigged. Bar that I love the concept.

I never thought of seriously running Judgment of Anubis, but you are right, it could prove very useful here... My opponent doesn't have a monster most of the time, though, so it's nowhere near as effective as it could be... I'll think about it.

    Bump to the top!

I'm looking for some new ideas for the maindeck monster lineup to possibly replace KKM Ice and maybe an airorca. Preferably one with good atk power, fish/sea serpent/aqua, and not hurt by Dimensional Fissure. I'm at a loss for what would work well here...

So I tested this on DN

I will say this, the deck breaths shenanigans

I have Gishki'd into Diva alot, and then gotten annother Gishki and another Oath

    That was neat

the build I have been using is slightly different though

    Monsters: 15

    3 Deep Sea Diva
    3 Gishki Diviner
    2 Gishki Erial
    2 Koa'ki Meiru Ice
    2 Summoner Monk
    3 Reborn Tengu

    Spells : 15
    2 Convulsion of Nature
    2 Archfiend's Oath
    3 Dimensional Fissure
    1 Mind Control
    2 Instant Fusion
    1 Dark Hole
    2 Pot of Duality
    2 Enemy Controller

    Traps: 10
    1 Macro Cosmos
    2 Oh F!sh!
    2 Solemn Warning
    3 Compulsory Evacuation Device
    2 Dimensional Prison
    1 Solemn Judgment

Extra: w/e you want, but would reccomend any fish fusion you can find for Instant Fusion and Black Ray Lancer for his great effect and accessibility in this deck

I up'd the monster count due to me getting overflowed with s/t and unable to apply pressure

I also redirected the angle of the deck to focus on xyz to obtain big beaters to push for game

In order to help with this, I added E-con and Mind Control to still gib my opponents monsters

So far the build is working pretty well on DN, love the idea man!
