Thread: My 2 Cents

    Default My 2 Cents

These in my opinion are very reasonable predictions.

    Ban:
    Gateway of the Six
    Dandilion
    Dark Hole

    Limited:
    Tg Hyper Librarian
    Shi En
    Heavy Storm
    Pot of Avarice
    Tour Guide
    Royal Tribute
    Demise
    Six Sam United
    Formula
    Goblin Zombie
    Zombie Master

    Semi:
    Tengu
    Book of Moon
    Master Hyperion

This Banlist hits everything needed to be hit, and added some old splashable cards back into the mix.

    Ban:
    Gateway of the Six Good.
Dandilion Meh. Other things could be done.
Dark Hole Only because Heavy is back.

    Limited:
Tg Hyper Librarian Ban this >.>
Shi En Hit the searchers or Kagemesha.
Pot of Avarice 2 is fine. It can lead to dead hands.
    BLS-EOB HAHAHAHAHA never.
    Heavy Storm Yes.
Black Rose Dragon Why? There isnt reason for this.
Pot of Avarice Wut? It's at one twice?
Tour Guide Ban Sangan. So much more effective.
    Royal Tribute Yup.
Six Sam United Need to hit Smoke Signal too.
Demise I see why you did this. Leave it where it was and keep ARA limited. See ARA for explanation.

    Semi:
    Tengu YAY!!!!
Formula Limit this. Frogs can abuse the s*** out of this.
Pot of Duality No reason :/. Being reprinted and it isnt game breaking.
Honest NO. Heros would be so stupid.
Book of Moon Sure. Until we get that ruling the OCG has.
    Master Hyperion Good choice here.

    Unlimited
ARA I know you limited Demise and semied Hyperion buy why? So much Herald/Agent derp.

This Banlist hits everything needed to be hit, and added some old splashable cards back into the mix.

    Okay.
TBH I think getting rid of Tour guide would be more effective then banning Sangan, But I might Just be Biased towards Sangan.

Hyper Librarian was just released, they won't ban it straight away.

Dandilion is stupid.I could ban Glow Up Bulb or Limit Lonefire, but banning Dandilion reduces the silly stuff they can do,the silly stuff that they can do which I would ban them for.

BLS EOB was just Reprinted, why would they Reprint a Banned card?

They wouldnt Hit Six Sams that hard.Yes it would be better for the Metagame, but they just wouldn't do it.

    Fixed some other things.

Edit: Oh yeah.Semi Pot of Duality because everyone will have it soon. They did the same thing with CCV (except not semi limiting it, but banning it).

They wouldn't hit an Archtype they are just about to release. So no hitting Dark World.

Black Rose Dragon is too good to be at 3.It was a lot better at 1.

This isn't the first reprint of this card since it has been banned. This is actually the third time it's been printed. CED EOE was reprinted in the first Master Collection and it didn't come off the list.

The card was originally banned on the September 05 Banlist, since September 05, BLS has been reprinted in:

    Dark Revelations 2
    Master Collection Volume 2

To say that because it's going to be reprinted means its coming off the banlist is terrible logic. They reprint old cards all the time, this is not just a game to some people, it's a serious collector's pastime and a lot of reprints are to bring back cards no longer in circulation.

I did not realize that BLS has been Reprinted since its Banning in '05.

Except CCV was amazingly broken. That is the difference. CCV could EASILY +3 and reveal an opponent's hand. Duality is a +/- 0 that hasnt broken the format.

They wouldn't hit an Archtype they are just about to release. So no hitting Dark World.

Black Rose Dragon is too good to be at 3.It was a lot better at 1.

What difference has it made at 3? I havent seen any noticeable difference.
Comments in quote. JJ took care of BLS.

    Ban:
    Gateway of the Six
    Dandylion
    Dark Hole

    Agreed for all these cards

    Limited:
Tg Hyper Librarian Put on the wrong list. This card is TOO broken to be allowed to remain in the game. It is much better than Goyo and thus should be banned faster than Goyo.
    Shi En Agreed
    Heavy Storm Agreed
    Pot of Avarice Semi it
    Tour Guide Agreed
    Royal Tribute Maybe
    Demise Maybe
Six Sam United Agreed, Smokescreen needs to be here as well
Formula Ban TGHL and Semi this

    Semi:
    Tengu Agreed
    Book of Moon Agreed
    Master Hyperion Agreed
PoD This card is too balanced to even be considered to be hit.

Missed Archlord Krystia, Zombies, and DW.

I just realized that this list comes out before the tins do,or close to that time so nothing in those tins will get hit(Archlord Krysta and PoD)

I Completely forgot Zombies,Ill hit them in a Sec.

As I said , the DW Structure Deck isn't out yet,so DW wont get hit.

My decision with Formula, is that if that TGHL gets limited,so will Formula.

I hit Shi En, Gateway and United, they wouldn't Hit 4 cards from a single Archtype.

    Ill fix PoA.

Lulz @ the random demise. Definitely along the lines of konami thinking.

Also by your logic tour guide won't be hit b/c it's TCG exclusive, i.e., not yet released in OCG. Same thing with tengu.
