Dark Magician Deck

I haven't played this game in years. I quit playing for a long time because my deck got stolen and it just didn't seem worth it to me to rebuild it. That being said, I just started college and a bunch of my friends there play, so i figured id make a deck and join them. Im gonna have to buy all the cards i put in my deck so i want to make sure its as good as it seems before i spend the money lol. With that in mind, please rate and give any input you may have for the deck below. And yes, I do realize that there are better builds than Dark Magicians out there, I'm just going with that one because he is, and always has been, my favorite monster

I would saythat you have a pretty good build but maybe try to get an equip or two like mage power

On the right lines on the build. Firstly I will point out, since you said you have to buy all your cards, it might be worth making a proxy deck first to make sure it is the kind of deck you want first. Now to suggestions:

-1 Dark Magician Girl (personal opinion, think one would be fine)
-1 Sorcerer of Dark Magic (sounds great in theory, not as easy to pull off in practice)
+2 Chaos Sorcerer (easy to summon, and a very good effect to deal with troublesome monsters)

-3 Peten the Dark Clown (good but better cards out there imo)
-1 Breaker the Magical Warrior (2 is enough to do the job)
+2 Magical Exemplar (decent attack, really good effect)
+1 Defender The Magical Knight/Lyla Lightsworn Sorceress (either one is fine. Either more protection or Trap destruction)
+1 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer (good attack, disruptive effect as well)

-1 Apprentice Magician (personal preference)
+1 Crystal Seer/Summoner Monk (one is for draw power, the other is a way to get your Valkyria quicker or any lv4 you want)

-1 Diffusion Wave-Motion (a tad too situational)
-1 Thousand Knives (same as above, better in a Prisma Magician build imo)
-1 Swords of Revealing Light (personal pref, can keep if you wish)
-2 Sage's Stone (a tad situational imo)

+1 Secret Village of the Spellcasters (focus on this gives you stronger control)
+1 Terraforming/Pot of Avarice (get ur field spell out quicker or get a re-draw)
+1 Giant Trunade (staple)
+1 Dark Magic Attack/Dark Magic Curtain (personal preference, depends which you wold prefer)

all these fixes are just my personal opinion, you don't have to go with any of them. Also I would suggest talking to Kishi_No_Ryu, really good with spellcasters in general. But again I recommend a proxy build before buying stuff.
