    Default Duel Decks

I'm thinking about getting a duel deck set so that I have two simple decks that relate well to each other in order to teach others how to play without to many complicated mechanics. I was wondering which duel deck would be a good choice for such a purpose that has well balanced decks.

I'm considering JaceVChandra since I've heard they are pretty balanced, but if there are other good balanced (preferably not to expensive) sets please let me know.

    Thanks

The thing about "decks being balanced" are also dependant on whose controlling them. I taught some people (including my girlfriend) with the Phyrexia vs. Coalition duel deck. They're pretty well balanced when played with people of the same level, however when the people I was teaching me asked me to play as hard as I could (and kept asking), I beat them VERY handily. So you you have to watch out for that.

Unfortunately, the Coalition vs. Phyrexia can be slightly complicated to teach, as both have certain disadvantages to do so. Coalition is fairly complicated, being a 5 colour deck, and has many interactions with it, while phyrexia tends to do things new people hate, such as using up life in order to gain things. Like the card Phyrexian Gargantuan, and things like that.

A good one that I was told is good for teaching people however is elspecth vs. tezzeret, I haven't tried it, but my friend has taught quite a few people with it, and he says it works well.

Elpseth Vs Tezz is really good to teach people with, they can just play them out, but there are things you can show them, ways to teach them how to optimize.

Actually Elves Vs Goblins would be the best to begin with i believe.
    EDH- Wrexial, the Risen Deep
    Legacy- Dredge, Tempo Fae
    Ext- Ub Fae, Elves
    Standard- The Darkness (MBC)

    Dark Ritual, Thoughtseize, Hymn Go.
