Hi,

I wanted to find out if it would be alight with the mods if I can post a thread in each have/want section found on tcgplayer forums. I want to offer a custom playmat printing service, people provide me with the image, and for a fee I print it out and ship it to them. I have examples of my print quality, and i've been offering this service on another tcg site. I looked all over for forum rules but could not find them, hopefully someone can answer my question, thank you.

If you want to do it for fees (profit/money). Then the answer is no. It would be considered as advertising and thus against the rules.

If you are a trader that wants to trade stuff, you may offer that as extra service for trading stuff. That may be considered as barter for goods of trading cards, then that is possible.

I would need to ask other MODs to come in and maybe answer your question better than I can.

I would be charging a fee, because I'm in need of the money at the moment. Question to all of you mods, as well as Sigredep, what would you guys do in my position, you know, wanting to charge a fee, for a service, if theres nothing to do, just want to thank you for the response and time.

Then it would be a simple, no.. It would count as selling and selling is against our rules here. It comes with even more chance of something going wrong then just trading. Also, being a member that offers it as an "off site" option would also not be allowed because, as Sig mentioned, it would be a form of advertising thats not allowed..


If you want to advertise, i would talk to Cheddy as he runs the place and that sort of thing is his call, not ours.

yeah, if your able to work things out with cheddy on this, let me know because i can think of a few things i'd like to make mats out of depending on your fees.

Thanks Viperoh for clearing something up for me. The right name is Chedy not the one with two d's! LoL.

As for mats, I would definitely be interested if Chedy signs off on allowing you serve for that sort of thing.
