Blue Star Disaster
This deck used to be far and away the most balanced and skillful Dragon deck in the game but then it took a banlist to the knee. Don't worry though. It got better.
Disaster Dragon
Monsters
Tribute/Nomi
1 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
3 Tempest, the Storm-Incarnate Dragon
2 Blaster, the Flame-Incarnate Dragon
2 Redox, the Rock-Incarnate Dragon
Non Tribute
3 Koa'ki Meiru Drago
3 Masked Dragon
2 Debris Dragon
2 Red-Eyes Wyvern
2 Golem Dragon
1 Exploder Dragon
1 Flamvell Guard
Spells
3 Gold Sarcophagus
3 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Dark Hole
1 Heavy Storm
1 Monster Reborn
Traps
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
2 Dragon's Fang Reincarnation
2 Torrential Tribute
2 Solemn Warning
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Return from the Different Dimension
Side Deck
Extra Deck
1 Scrap Dragon
1 Stardust Dragon
1 Thought Ruler Archfiend
1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Number 11: Big Eye
1 Gaia Dragon the Thunder Charger
1 Phantom Beastcraft Drago Sack
2 Queen Dragun Djinn
1 Lightning Chidori
1 Abyss Dweller
1 Gagaga Cowboy
1 Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
The basic premise of the deck is to constantly keep a hold of the game state be it through my dragons' powerful effects or by simply beating them senseless through their sheer power. Every Dragon in the main and Extra Deck serve a specific purpose towards the deck's goal of winning which is what makes Disaster so special.
Records
Sept 2011 Format - Winnipeg Regionals; 1-3 Finish (Drop)
March 2012 Format - Winnipeg Regionals; X-0-1 Finish. Top 4 + Nats invite.
----
The deck has now been updated to accommodate the new Incarnate Dragons set to be released in Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy. They all have remarkable effects that work very well with Disaster's style of play. Tempest is especially powerful thanks to the assortment of Wind Monsters the deck plays (Wyvern, Drago) as he can search Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon right from the deck as early as turn one. They all get effects off of being banished which allows the deck to play banish oriented cards like RftDD and especially Gold Sarc. The Incarnates make the card a +1!

Top 8 Master
For now, my 1 suggestion is to remember that Bottomless Trap Hole does not target & so neither White Night Dragon or Tyrant Dragon are immune to it. They would both be removed from play if the opponent uses BTH on them!

Bottomless does not target? I never, ever knew that one. Thanks for the warning >.>
Also, I'm going to put Mind Crush into the main deck over Starlight Road, which will be moved to the Side Deck over a Trap Stun. Since Trap Stun is best run in twos or none that last Stun will also be cut from the Side Deck, but what to put in. Perhaps Morphing Jar for when I side in the Rai-Ohs.

Yeah bottomless is really cheap, I've hit two gottoms that were being brought back with ECall, and they both get removed because it doesn't target.
Anyways, I like the build, and I've been loving Tyrant Dragon as well in this format(He negates Icarus Attack as well!) But I've never really been a fan of Starlight Road, other than siding it in against BWs. Personally I'd drop it for a 2nd Solemn Warning, which offers better control.
***EDIT***
Oh, you've swapped for a Mind Crush eh? Well that's a pretty good move, as it helps stop big plays with faultroll/JD. As long as Starlight Road is off to the Side deck I'm happy

I kinda don't have a second one yet, otherwise I'd have one sided. Working on it though >_>
I'm actually seeing a fair bit of multiple removal like Icarus Attack, Dark Hole, Black Rose Dragon, Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute, Junk Destroyer and Burst Breath so having Starlight is handy for alot of the matchups I find myself in.

Editing the side deck so I can fit MST in there. Zombie World completely kills this deck unless I by some miracle get Black Rose Dragon out. Once that card is on field I can't summon jack from the graveyard, my Totem Dragons are useless, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon can't special summon itself nor can I tribute summon him and A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon is a dead card.
So 1 Thunder King Rai-Oh is gone from the side deck for a Mystical Space Typhoon. Actually make that both.

More side deck revamping. The MST are gone and in there place I've got Ancient Fairy Dragon which solves the Zombie World problem quite well and Seven Tools of the Bandit in as a tech idea I got from the Disaster Dragon thread. The MST are gone simply because when people set 3-4 backrow you're basically looking for needles in a haystack and I've got 4 forms of mass removal main decked already. I've also been able to fit in Pulling the Rugs.
I'm also gonna give Bait Doll a try over Cold Wave...if I can find one.

Bumping with some changes. Main Decking Seven Tools and a third Masked Dragon. Side deck changes and some extra deck modifications too.

Some minor changes to the side deck following a trip to Locals. I already went over this in the Disaster Dragon Thread but basically I did very well, winning all but one of my matches with Naturia being the one that gave me headaches. I've also learned that Six Samurai decks will ALWAYS be around and usually 2-3 people will play them. To that end Super Poly and Dragon Knight are going back into the side and Extra decks respectively to deal with them and I'm side decking Effect Veilers to deal with Naturias and a host of other decks.
CHANGES
Extra Deck
-1 Ally of Justice Catastor
+1 Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste
Side Deck
-1 Pulling the Rug
-1 Swallow Flip
-1 Thunder King Rai-Oh
+2 Effect Veiler
+1 Super Polymerization
I took great satisfaction in defeating one of the players, who ran Macro Monarchs. Rivalry of Warlords really, really, REALLY screwed him up. For a card that's "good on paper but easily dealt with" it sure as hell was difficult to get by.
To sum up my locals story;
1-2 vs Naturias
2-0 vs Structure Deck Invincible Fortress plus extra fluff
2-1 vs Machina Ally of Justice variant
2-1 vs Macro Monarchs
Tyrant Dragon was a real all star today. His Double Attack and target trap immunity is amazing when people like to spam D-Prison and CEDs.
