You can say what you like but to me and many people including pro players those two are wash ups. Kareem played against Russel during his time in Milwaukee for 1 year before Russell retired. Also Kareem was not in his prime when Parrish played him, you are not in your prime when you hit 40 lol.

I believe that in time, LeBron James will wedge his way in there.

I'm going to try and revive this section as much as possible with some random, more educated posts than before. I was very ignorant and egotistical before when I ranted on and on about certain things. But I have grown up and realize many things and have learned a whole lot more about basketball and the history of the sport.

This is not to say that I am all knowing or know the right answer to an objectified question because that's obviously preposterous. But I just want to start a logical and intellectual conversation/debate about this question once again.

I realized that having a top 10 list of the best 10 basketball players is a flawed system. So I eventually made a list of 15 of, in my opinion, the best players. 5 for each position: 5 Guards, 5 Forwards, and 5 Centers. And here it is, if you have any comments, argument starters, disagreements, or anything of that nature I would be glad to discuss and debate this.

    Guards:
    Michael Jordan
    Magic Johnson
    John Stockton
    Oscar Robertson
    Gary Payton

    Forwards:
    Larry Bird
    Elgin Baylor
    Tim Duncan
Dennis Rodman(Very controversial I'll admit and a bit of favoritism but he has the stats and accolades to be put in here in my opinion.)
    LeBron James

    Centers:
    Wilt Chamberlain
    Shaquille O'Neal
    Kareem Abdul - Jabbar
    Bill Walton
    Hakeem Olajuwon
    Trades

Thank you all so much for the amazing time. I hope you all have as fun a time as I did!
