So what is the big deal with the Frost Titan? What made it jump so quickly in price??

Frost Titan is the only titan that beats other titans. Simply put, it is the most valuable card in an environment dominated by other titans (pecifically Primeval).

Heh who would imagine this will jump to be the second best titan. Haven't seen this coming although i was fast enough to buy my copies for $7

I got a foil titan when M11 was released for $5.

He is my favorite. He is a total stomp-face with Mimic Vat.

Second best is Sun Titan, also becaus eof the existence of vat

Primeval Titan NEVER deserved to be more than $20,

and easily comes in ranked 3rd

So everyone here thinks that the Frost Titan is the best Titan due to it's abilities? Or with a certain combo? I would still have to say that the Primeval Titan is still very powerful due to simply being able to bring in 2 more lands a turn or 4 more lands when used with Venser, the Sojourner.

I play both Primeval and Frost in the same deck and I have to say Primeval is the nuts and deserves the number one spot. Frost Titan is powerful and has jumped in price because people have found good decks for him to fit in. Most of the decks Frosty fits in run mana accel and you're able to lock them out of their threats early so he's the nuts in those builds. I don't really see him as overly powerful in U/W, but why not play him?

Anyone who thinks that Frost Titan is better than Primeval Titan is fairly imbecilic.
Let's not suddenly throw things out of proportion just because Frost Titan is finally seeing the Light of Day, there are plenty of arguments for how great he is or can be but Primeval Titan is hands down a better card in the format that we're in, and in general.
Also, Primeval Titan has always deserved to be over $30, and I counter your ability to tap down 2 of my permanents and attack for 6 with dealing you 12 damage and attacking for 6. Um...wtf Sun Titan?

    @Zinc6c12

First of all, let me compliment you on your eloquence.
clearly you play too much valakut.

    Which is only 1 deck...
not the format... in case you forgot

right now, Primeval Titan shines in ONE deck. (*that was a dig at eldrazi green, which i don't consider a competitive deck*)

IF valakut the molten pinnacle was not in print, Primeval Titan would have to fight to be worth $10

AND.... yes, Sun Titan ftw. I already broke the card, you guys need to catch up.

Once again guys, both cards are being based off of using other cards for combos. I personally like Primeval Titan due to it's speed of getting extra land out in a hurry. But I am still trying to figure out why everyone has picked up on the Frost Titan all of a sudden.. Don't get me wrong, it's a great card, but I am curious why it has become so hot all of a sudden.
