First of all, I hate the Finals match-up setup, always have. Three straight games at home games for the road team between Games 3 and 5. If Boston manages to steal one, they will go back home for 3 games, which is absolutely ridiculous. Anyway, this is the series everyone wanted to see, so enjoy!!!

First game was definitely not how Boston needed to start the series. The Lakers just kept up the pressure and played rather physically and Boston just tapered off more and more toward the end. They had a good chance to turn the game around multiple times, but as the game kept going LA's lead just widened.

To be quite honest, I think the pressure on the Lakers here, or for the home team any year for the NBA Finals. My reasoning is the home field advantage setup. As I said in the first post, I dislike how there are 3 straight home games between Games 3-5 for the road team. Lakers MUST win Game 2 or they will have to find a way to win on the road for about a week. If they go up 2-0, then there will AT LEAST be a game 6, which would take place in LA.

Oh Lee, good luck getting Queen James, that girl is way overrated.

Kobe just proved again he is the best on the planet.

I rather the Bulls get Wade and Stoudemire to be honest. We can par without James. I honestly hope the Lakers win. A team repeating a title reign will only make the NBA better. It has been 10-15 years since a team has repeated (Bulls from 91-93, Rockets from 94-95, Bulls from 96-98).

Celtics tied it up 1-1. It was really a great game to watch. Rondo did amazingly with another triple double and Ray Allen was on fire with those 8 threes and 32 points. Davis, Robinson and Wallace all played well off the bench also. Garnett played like crap though. He just keeps throwing the ball away.

Bynum, Gasol, and Kobe had great games as well. The foul trouble did damper the game, especially for the Lakers.
