that has got to be the most worthless card I've ever seen! 7/7 4 drop with a worthless effect unless you're playing gcpd or something. god these starter cards suck! thanks for finding it tho.

Actually there are gonan be SOME new cards that are really good. But come on you cant expect the best cards in the world like fizzle or alfred in the starter decks i mean that would screw up the game. This is to start up noobs and make em better.

    I'm not so sure.
Ratcatcher, who has roughly similar text, is a REAL pain in the arse. But whereas Ratcatcher's text applies for every character, this Batman just works on your Gotham Knights. In a single team deck this could be a real nice card.

The only down side is the slightly below-average stats. But his low defence just helps his text apply more often. :-)

Um...congrats spartain, we're all very proud of you.

And Stenum, 7/7 for a 4-drop is about as average as you can get, it's not below-average.

I would have been happier with more draw power in the starter decks. I know there only 26 cards but I want a guy who has the 7 drops draw power but lacks the atk def pump, just normal stats.

What's the use of the drawpower then? Why does everyone hate the original 7 drop Batman? He rocks you just have to build a deck around him but the deck is highly playable and only has one bad matchup

That's the point. You have to build around him.
Unfortunately, The Dark Knight is usually pathetic in a normal mono-Gotham curve deck. It used to be that there was no other option for a 7 drop, you had to play him to be able to play Superman. Sadly, there is very little good and dependable draw power for the GK team, but they love to discard cards with Batgirl and Fizzle. Other than Superman, Batgirl is the only real character thats above average in stats. Her effect helps to make up for the fact that the rest of her team is PURE AVERAGE in stats. In the old days, there used to be those pathetic times when I would bring out The Dark Knight and he would be a pathetic 9/9 due to Batgirl and Fizzle usage. Thankfully, DC expansions realized this problem and made 2 more alternative Batmans, both with dependable base stats. The new Batman rocks, well at least for My Beloved deck, where cards stock up in your hand like crazy.
