    Creature - Spirit

Wither (This deals damage to creatures in the form of
    -1/-1 counters.)

At the beginning of your upkeep, put a -1/-1 counter
    on each nonblack creature.

    5/5

Liked it when it got spoiled on MTG. Love it now.

Paragon armies, please kiss your trample goodbye.

As always, black >3 toughness makes it pretty hard to kill.

Would play it just for the beautiful ART.

Saying that, it's a bit ironic that the art might not have many viewers due to MBC finisher competition from Korlash, also illustrated by Daarken. As the name implies, this is the go to guy for really awesome black art.

Pretty good. Will be used in constructed block.

Constructed block sounds about right. It's hard to say whether this is better or worse than Crovax, but it's about the same league, except worse against faeries.

i actually see a place in MBC and MBA for this guy, although he'd be so much more valuable if his casting cost was 5, not 6. as a spirit, i'm surprised he isn't flying too.

i would play him and Korlash in the same deck, but i think running Korlash, Tombstalker, and this guy might be too mana intensive for any deck.

Looks like every color is going to be getting a 6cc creature. White has got another awesomely illustrated angel that has a retarded return from graveyard ability unless of course you intend to Wrath afterwards but persist, flying, vigilance (lol wtf?!)

I agree that Black Crovax could circumstantially be better. Immediate effect. Gives +1/+1 but "wither" to me on a 5/5 beatstick that gives -1 to opposing creatures before it even hits may as well read trample. Ok not trample, but it's basically a one-sided Wrath unless they can hit him and most importantly those -1 counters as someone suggested stop Bramby armies (6cc solution a bit slow?) and those Persist freaks. I dunno, I sincerely doubt this guy's playability over as JACasual noted Korlash and now Oona and Demigod of Revenge seems an explosive game ending contender from left-side. The Angel however is a nice alternate white control finisher from most expensive benchwarmer ever: Akroma Wrath.
