    Default Trials and Tribulations

    Plot Twist
    Cost: 4

Name a Spider-Friends character you control.

Draw a card and then discard a card.

Ongoing: Whenever that target character recovers during the recovery phase you may place two +1/+1 counters on it.

If you hit your curve, that basically just means you have 2 5-drops on turn 5. It's a nice card! Uh, the "name a character" part should be before the ongoing. And then it should be "Whenever named character recovers," ya know. Or else the two phrases don't really go together; target is not the same as named.

You can kill with this card if you use him in evasion decks

That's why it has a threshhold of 4. I was thinking the same thing. But then, look at what card like New Brotherhood do.

Yah this may be a little too broken. All you'd see in the tournaments would be Trials and Tribulations, Spidey's Brotherhood, TT, Curve Sents.

also the ongoing dosen't make sense. you said select a spidey freinds but the Ongoing has nothing to do with that, did you mean when that character is stunned put 2 +1 atk/ +1 def ?

It makes perfect sense. Whenever that character you chose recovers, you put two +1/+1 counters on it.

Also, your arguement that this card is broken just because people would play it is stupid. You can't use this card until turn 4, and a character has to be stunned before you can use the effect. Say you use it on your 4 drop. And on turn 5 both your 4 and 5 drops are stunned. A card is broken because you need to recover your 4 drop instead of your 5 drop? That's stupid. This card is no more broken than Blackbird is.

Also, there are ways to remove counters. Sonic Gun, for example. If anything, I would see this card being used with Children of the Atom. Going into turn 5 you'd have an 11/11 (Assuming a 7/7 character) if you used this card with evasion.

Powerful, yes. Broken, no. This card just makes your character bait for Overload, Finishing Move, and every Marvel Knight "KO a stunned character" effect out there.
