we had ten play last Saturday. Eight players played Surfer. One of the players that didn't almost won the event. He beat two Surfer teams (one was 2 time WWPhilly Champ, CramCompany). On the other one, he had Surfer down to his last click but misjuged the line of fire (he didn't think he had on so didn't take the shot. I showed him after the game that he did have a line).
He was playing Living Laser, Wonder Man, Gargoyle and Bucky.

    The event was very fun!

Who did the Surfer team have with him? I'm not a big fan of the new Wonder Man, although he does have his good points and I don't think he could ask for better wingmen than Laser and Gargoyle.

Thursday night seven out of sixteen people played Daysurfer, and the winning team at the end of the night was Spidey, Living Laser, Gargoyle, and Guardsman. That was the only non-surfer team I saw win, out of four events.

    Scott (CramCompany) was using Toro.
The other ones I don't recall.

The winner of our event didn't play Surfer. Instead he played:
    Winter Soldier
    Living Laser
    USAgent
    Frenchie Deauchamp
    Yondu

It was a Surfer killing team!

Wow, I have to admire a player that looks at WinterSol and Laser and says 'You know what? These guys just don't deal enough damage at range, I need Enhancement.'

Hopefully when I throw Terrax against something like this over the weekend I'll make my Impervious rolls. Or open my own WinterSol.

Yeah. Thing about Terrax is its best to keep him in close combat when you can. Unfortunately that won't help you in going up against the WInter Soldier unless you can get the first hit in.

I would actually like to see the Horroclix rule implemented (I think you came across this once as a House Rule Jeremy) where based characters (even flyers) cannot make ranged attacks. That would be such a boon to non-range heavy characters.

I played last week and this week with no heralds and managed to kill 2 surfers last week and a surfer and a terrax this week.
    Last Week Team:
    Spider-man
    Ult Scarlet Witch
    LionHeart
    Bucky

    This Week:
    Bucky
    Shang Chi
    Ken Hale
    Ronin
    US Agent
    Toro

Last week was awesome, i kept the sufers tied up with weebing and let bucky CCE them to death. A hulk with fortitiude kicked my ***. This week, i managed to wear down terrax and bucky crited him to death. Sufer went down with ronin getting some great hits.

week 3: Out of our 10 teams, we had 5 Surfer teams and one Terrax Team.
A Surfer Team won the week.

I like the idea of Spiderman's Webbing ability.

But will you guys be using Firelord or Stardust? I think that Stardust is one of the best in the game, especially for his points.
