Thought Hemorrhage - Seeing Red (Deck Wins) Again
This past weekend I played in the first Friday Night Magic I have played in for quite some time. The last time I played standard on a Friday night was when I sleeved up Kithkin for one last hurrah! Coincidentally that was when I realized I hated playing a deck that had no answers to combo outside 4 Path to Exiles and because of it I dropped a few matches to Quillspike and Progenitus.dec. Generally speaking I like to play control...

Thought Hemorrhage: Mother May I? (Zendikar Triggers)
This past week I turned 21 and “coincidentally” failed one of the biggest tests of my collegiate career; even so, that is a story for another time. Turning 21 was fun and now it’s over. Yet, I still find myself waiting for my cool horizontal driver’s license that distinguishes me as someone who can buy alcohol without having their license get a “double take” from the bartender. This week I had promised all of you an in-depth sealed...

I will not have an article up this week as it is my 21st birthday and I have midterms, so needless to say I already have enough fun and excitement on my plate that I wasn't able to write. Join me next Monday when I go over a MTGO PTQ with a deep analysis of the sealed pool as well as the match summaries. Also for all of those who were excited to read the Zendikar triggers article fret not as it will be up the following week (still relevant enough for the rest of Zendikar season). Also @ noon today...

Thought Hemorrhage - Under the Radar
First and foremost, I just want to let all of the MTG players out there know that I found the greatest website the other day. GGslive.com is the answer to everyone’s MTG coverage needs. Not only does it have interviews with players in between rounds, but it actually has live coverage of Grand Prixs. This past weekend GGslive.com covered GP Tampa and did an amazing job. The guys at GGslive had an excellent cast joined by none other then famed deck...

Thought Hemorrhage - So You Want to T8 a Zendikar PTQ..?
First off before we get into the bulk of the article I just want to say that I was extremely happy and excited that Kibler came back from 0-2 in the quarterfinals of PT: Austin and actually ended up winning it. I still don't think I rate it as highly as Gabriel Nassif's personal PT win in Kyoto, but it is nice to see another of the games greats finally getting their due, especially after a break from the game. Now for...

After unsuccessfully getting myself into a MTGO Zendikar pre-release sealed pool I will be postponing my article until Thursday in order to partake in the release activities. Write it down on your calendars so you don't miss this jam-packed article that will give you the needed information to make Q'ing that much easier for this upcoming weekend and the rest of the season.

Thought Hemorrhage: Big Fish, the Marketability Potential of Magic, and Rants
I hope all of you enjoyed last week’s article and are continuously perusing your detailed hyperlinked comprehensive Zendikar “has more names than a federal statute” spreadsheet. I do wish more of you will comment and show your support, since I wouldn’t mind doing something like that on a set by set basis. Although, if you are in the mindset that the only sheets that you use are the ones on your bed let me...

I know I said I would be writing on a different site a while ago, well turns out that journey took me nowhere. I have been exiled from TCGplayer for a while now and it took a kicked Mold Shambler to get me back here, but this is where I belong. Simply editing my own blog and writing for an audience I have already connected with is far more appealing than writing for the “spoiler website”. A few months and several articles...

Dear readers,
It is with great joy that I write this. As of a few hours ago I found out that I was recently accepted by MTG Salvation to begin writing articles on their website on a regular basis. This is something that I have set out to do for quite some time, and have finally accomplished. For all of my dedicated readers I hope to see you on the other website.
On another note I want to thank TCGplayer.com for allowing me to post thought provoking articles on and be...

Perceiving Magic
(Author's note: By the time you read this GP: Boston will be finished and M10 will be in full swing both in MODO form and competitive form! Get the knowledge of the format sooner rather than later).
I lie to me readers far more than I would like to. Nevertheless, it is for good reasons. I had promised you all, on more than one occasion, an article with substance, something that I have yet to fulfill. Maybe it has something to do with not being paid...
