The Revival of the Gemini

So Warrior Strike id finaly out, many people have already gone out to claim their copies of Supervis, for those who don't know what this card does the effect applies to Gemini monsters, giving them their ability without wasting your normal summon for the turn, with an added effect of if it is sent to the grave you get a new normal monster from your grave to add to your field.

This may not seem like a big deal, but it is a huge deal, this card will most definetly be seen in up coming tournaments. This new card is amazing as it literaly has no down draws, its almost a +1 no matter how you look at it.

You have probaly read the deck lists that talk about this card, and yes I too will post my own, but I want to talk about a diffrent deck that will effect this grand card...Zombies, yes that dusty Il Blud you keep in your collection will finaly see play again.

So we know Il Blud has potential in a zombie deck, if it wasnt for the fact that u waste a normal summon for it, but what gives Il Blud such a great bonus is the fact that there are a huge number of chances to special summon him, not only giving the chance to use his ability from turn one, but to get great field presence. Here is wat gives Il Blud that chance, lets say hypotheticaly you have an Il Blud in the grave, a Supervis, Foolish Burial, and Book of Life in Hand in hand... With this hand you can play your Foolish Burial, Drop another Il Blud, play your Book of Life to grab your Il Blud, play your supervis on it, then Grab the other copy of Il Blud in your grave, now normal summon that Il Blud and grab a thrid Zombie from the grave, this just boosted your field pressence by +4 with a -3 to the hand an overall +1, now lets say you loose that copy of Supervis, well with that card gone you get a new normal monster from your grave to replace it.

Supervis alone cannot make the deck, the build will define how the card will help the deck. So lets look at a build I have been working with.

Deck: 42

Monsters: 20
3x Il Blud
2x Blazewing Butterfly
2x UFO Turtle
1x Zombie Master
1x Kasha
1x Plaguespreader Zombie
2x Mezuki
2x Goblian Zombie
2x Pyramid Turtle
1x Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind
1x Card Trooper
2x Lyla Lightsworn Sorceress

Magics: 16
3x Supervis
2x Book of Life
2x Foolish Burial
2x Hidden Armory
2x Allure of Darkness
1x Heavy Storm
1x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x Brain Control
1x Lightning Vortex
1x Burial From A Diffrent Dimension

Traps: 6
1x Call of the Haunted
1x Solemn Judgment
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Mirror Force
2x Bottomless Trap Hole

Now to explain the decks inner most works, the deck itself looks basic, having the ability swarm like any normal zombie deck, but with an edge, it allows for explosive monsters to hit the field faster then most zombie decks, and all it requires is two cards, Il Blud and Supervis, this is because the majority of the time you play this combo it will be in early to mid game, allowing for your grave to gain presence with cards like Mezuki, Plaguespreader, Il Blud and more, simply with this you can begin to change the game in your favor, lets say you have an Il Blud on field and equip it with Supervis, now you get a free Zombie, but wat if your opponent has bigger monsters on the field for you to trounce, simply drop a Kasha and bounce them all back, gain 2000 attack, but in the process gain back a Blazewing or Il Blud in return with your Supervis, if you didnt use your normal summon for the turn use it to normal summon a new monster or to activate the Gemini monsters effect. Or use that Mezuki you have waiting in the grave and bring out another zombie to swing at your opponent for more damage.

The possibilities with this deck is huge, of course my current build is still under testing and you will probaly find your own techs to play with, this is just an example build for you to get an idea of what you are goin for.

Now the majority of the time you will find yourself on the defenssive on turn one to add more monsters to the grave or build up for that large combo next turn. This isn't bad as you can always find a way to play at your opponents weaknesses, a large grave is always something to fear when zombies are in play, the larger the grave the more the oppertunity to turn the game around.

I personaly don't like the deck I have posted, as most of you will probaly agree, I just threw it down to give an idea of what you can expect to see in these kinda decks.

A few things you are guaranteed to see in the deck are the staple zombies and the deck's main focus:

2-3 Il Blud
2-3 Supervis
2 Mezuki
1 Plaguespreader Zombie
1-3 Goblian Zombie

You will then have a large amount to choose from for techs to add to the deck such as:

1-3 Book of Life
1-3 Burial From a Diffrent Dimension
1-2 Pyramid Turtle
1-3 Zombie Master
1-2 Kasha
1-3 (diffrent equip cards, depending on the build's main focus)
1-2 Blazewing Butterfly
etc..

There are endless number of techs people will add to the deck, and it all will come down to an official tournament before poeple start to find what works and what doesn't work.

Building this deck will most likely be decided between three types of builds, control and swarm, swarm OTK or Swarm Return. These will be based entirely off of a few tech cards like Dark Bribe, Burial From A Diffrent Dimension and United We Stand. These cards change how the deck will play. Burial applies to Return, United applies towards OTK and Dark Bribe towards control, these aren't guaranteed cards that will be used, but rather examples.

You may see toolboxes witch will be a common build for those with little money, OTK's and Return for those with more money.

Regaurdless of the build, you can assure yourself that Supervis Zombie or Plant will be appearing soon, get your copies and good luck on your builds, if you have any questions just ask away, till next time, peace.

Yes they do seem out of place, but then again this was just an idea deck, not really gonna run it, I'll rebuild one that actually works the way I want it to and maybe put that up.

Powertool hasn't as much effect in this deck as it does in Gigavise, but this deck will be with a Black Brutedrago as it's main monster.

    one problem

You have goblin zombie recommended "run 1-3"

Goblin Zombie, or "Zomblin" as I call him, is semi-limited.
