The Tide Has Turned.

Today I am going to discuss a newly found tier 2 deck. Only weeks ago this deck was no higher than tier 3, but new support has changed that. This wont be as detailed as planned due to the fact my computer restarted and I wasted an hour and a half with this already.

Ok the key cards of this deck:

Super Ancient Deepsea King Coelacanth

Attribute: WATER
Types: Fish/Effect
Level: Level 7
ATK/DEF: 2800/2200
Number: 88307361
Card Effect Type(s): Ignition/Continuous/Quick

Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon as many Level 4 or lower Fish-Type monsters as possible from your Deck. A monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot declare an attack and its effect(s) is negated while on the field. If this card is targeted by a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster's effect, you can Tribute 1 other Fish-Type monster to negate the effect and destroy that card.

This monster is the big guy of the deck, both of his effects complement the other causing him to be extremely well balanced, but with the support surrounding him and what his effect can now grab from the deck is what makes this deck so amazing.

Royal Swamp Eel

Attribute: WATER
Types: Fish/Effect/Tuner
Level: Level 4
ATK/DEF: 1700/1200
Number: 37953640

If this card is used as a Synchro Material Monster, all the other Synchro Material Monsters must be Fish-Type.

This monster is a lvl 4 fish TUNER. Bringing this to the field from the deck with other fish with coelacanths effect is what makes this deck what it is. Lvl 8 synchro parties.

Fishborg Blaster

Attribute: WATER
Types: Fish/Tuner
Level: Level 1
ATK/DEF: 100/200
Number: 93369354
Card Effect Type(s): Ignition

If you control a face-up level 3 or lower WATER monster, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is used as a Synchro Material Monster, the other Synchro Material Monsters must all be WATER monsters.

Being lvl 1 this guy isnt a huge impact as a tuner unless you synchro using Coelacanth, but since he can revive himself while you have a lvl 3 or lower water he can make some interesing plays for synchros or with fish depth charge.

Now to start the deck off.

Monsters
3 Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth
3 Royal Swamp Eel
1 Fishborg Blaster

Coelacanth is the key component to this deck and you want to draw him as soon as possible, running him at 3 helps and will rarely hurt unless you draw all 3, but that still wouldn't be too bad.

Royal Swamp Eel is a fish you don't mind drawing but only drawing 1. You need it in your deck almost all the time so Coelacanth can use his effect for advantage.

Fishborg Blaster being lvl 1 isn't neccessary most of the time but can pull of some comboes you don't want to lose, since he can revive himself but it isn't a common thing we look at him as a weak plaguespreader for fish.

Now onto the supporting fish.

Golden Flying Fish

Attribute: LIGHT
Types: Fish/Effect
Level: Level 4
ATK/DEF: 1700/1000
Number: 76203291
Card Effect Type(s): Ignition

You can Tribute 1 other Fish-Type monster to destroy 1 card on the field.

This monster being a 1 for 1 most of the time unless you combo it right is just an amazing fish. As well even though it is a light can allow you to synchro for Light-end dragon.

Metabo-Shark

Attribute: WATER
Types: Fish/Effect
Level: Level 4
ATK/DEF: 1800/500
Number: 37792478

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select and return 2 Fish-Type monsters from your Graveyard to the Deck.

This guy is new and very underrated. He gives you reason to no longer run 7 colored fish and lets you refill you deck with fish. If you select another copy of himself you can keep your suply of fish plentiful. As well lvl 4 for big synchros.

Unshaven Angler

Attribute: WATER
Types: Fish/Effect
Level: Level 4
ATK/DEF: 1500/1600
Number: 92084010
Card Effect Type(s): Continuous

When Tribute Summoning a WATER monster, you can treat this 1 monster as 2 Tributes.

Little guy but has a big spirit. He can bring out Coelacanth with JUST ONE TRIBUTE. This is huge. Even though he has only 1500 atk he still is a lvl 4 fish that speeds up the deck.

Oyster Meister

Attribute: WATER
Types: Fish/Effect
Level: Level 3
ATK/DEF: 1600/200
Number: 83239739
Card Effect Type(s): Trigger

When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, except when destroyed by battle, Special Summon 1 "Oyster Token" (Fish-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).

The only lvl 3 of this trip. This guy makes lvl 1 tokens when he dies as long as it's not by battle. So synchro and get a lvl 7 or 4 then get a fish token or tribute him off for an effect or summon.

Morphing Jar

Attribute: EARTH
Types: Rock/Effect
Level: Level 2
ATK/DEF: 700/600
Number: 33508719
Card Effect Type(s): Flip

FLIP: Both players discard their hands, then draw 5 cards

May not be a fish but drawing 5 after using up a lot of your resources isn't too bad and can set up some awsome otks.

Monsters
3 Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth
3 Royal Swamp Eel
3 Golden Flying Fish
3 Metabo-Shark
2 Unshaven Angler
2 Oyster Meister
1 Morphing Jar
1 Fishborg Blaster

Now moving on to the spells.

Morray of Greed

Type: Spell Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 22123627

Return 2 WATER monsters from your hand to the Deck, then draw 3 cards.

Cleans your hand and lets you draw. This card is what brought this deck up a tier all on its own.

Pot of Avarice

Type: Spell Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 67169062

Select 5 Monster Cards in your Graveyard. Return those cards to the Deck, then draw 2 cards.

You flood your grave with monsters and want them in your deck. This gives you a +1 and does that for you.

My Body As a Shield

Type: Spell Cards
Property: Quick-Play
Number: 69279219

When your opponent activates a card that has the effect that destroys 1 or more monsters on the field, pay 1500 Life Points to negate the activation of the card and destroy it.

This card makes your very fragile otks unbreakable. Bottomless, Mirror Force, Torrential all are gone with this.

Star Blast

Type: Spell Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 67196946

Pay any number of Life Points in multiples of 500. Reduce the Level of 1 monster you control or that is in your hand by 1 for each 500 Life Points you paid, until the End Phase.

Coelacanth is a lvl 7, using this paying 1500 puts him down to a 4 to just summon to the field.

Card Destruction

Type: Spell Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 72892473

Each player discards their hand and draws the same number of cards they discarded.

Clean your hand and fill your grave to recycle again.

Heavy Storm

Type: Spell Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 19613556

Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field.

Staple.

Mystical Space Typhoon

Type: Spell Cards
Property: Quick-Play
Number: 05318639

Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.

Staple.

Giant Trunade

Type: Spell Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 42703248

Return all Spell and Trap Cards on the field to their owners' hands

This isn't a great card unless you hate s/ts which this deck DOES. Using this gives you a free turn to do whatever w/o minimal response from your opponent.

Spells
3 Morray of Greed
2 Pot of Avarice
2 My Body as a Shield
2 Star Blast
1 Card Destruction
1 Heavy Storm
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Giant Trunade

Now onto the Traps.

Bottomless Trap Hole

Type: Trap Cards

An obvious staple this format and protects your little fish for big plays next turn.

Fish Depth Charge

Type: Trap Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 58873391

Tribute 1 Fish-Type monster. Destroy 1 card on the field, and draw 1 card.

This card is a mean 1 for 1. It is an icarus atk that instard of being 2 for 2 it kills only 1 card but lets you draw 1 to make it a 1 for 1.

Transmigration Prophecy

Type: Trap Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 46652477

Select 2 cards from the Graveyard(s), and shuffle them into their owner's Deck(s).

This card is seeing more play now due to the fact it recycles your monsters and can be a D.D. Crow at the same time basically.

Type: Trap Cards
Property: Normal
Number: 53582587

And just which synchros would you suggest using?

You might also want to include some of the tips from Superancient Deepsea King Cealacant's tip page (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Ti...ing_Coelacanth), because they include Big Wave Small Wave, Tribute Doll, etc.

    3 Stardust Dragon
    2 Colossal Fighter
    1 Mist Wurm
1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary
1 Ally of Justice - Catastor
    1 Red Dragon Archfiend
    1 Thought Ruler Archfiend
    1 X Saber - Urbellum
    1 Black Rose Dragon
    1 Goyo Guardian
    1 Magical Android
    1 Armory Arm

    -------------------
The Problems with those are they require 2 cards to get out Coelacanth, so after all your stuff is done you only have 2 cards in hand, but with Star Blast or Mausoleum of the Emperor you have 3 cards left and instead of costing monsters, they cost life points. I wouldn't suggest running any other method.
