Old Hybrid + New Cards = Playable!

Hello everyone, I am back with a new blog concerning a new hybrid which I have taken to the next level. The deck I will be writing about is Harpiewing.
The deck consists of cards from the Harpie Ladies and Blackwings but with the twist of the brand new card which has appeared in Stardust Overdrive - Dark Simorgh. This card, with some other new cards included, could really make this type of deck work.
Well enough talking, let’s take a look at the deck I came up with:
Monsters: 20
2x Dark Simorgh
3x Cyber Harpie Lady
3x Harpie Queen
1x Sirocco the Dawn
3x Blackwing Shura the Blue Flame
3x Blackwing Bora the Spear
2x Kalut the Moon Shadow
2x Blizzard the Far North
1x Gale the Whrilwind
Spells: 14
2x Harpie's Hunting Ground
3x Solidarity
2x Swallow's Nest
2x Black Whirlwind
2x Allure of Darkness
1x Giant Trunade
1x Cold Wave
1x Brain Control
Traps: 6
2x Bottomless Trap Hole
2x Icarus Attack
1x Mirror Force
1x Call of the Haunted
The deck is very explosive in its nature, could eventually side some Skill Drain, and works well against anti-meta.
Card explanations:
Dark Simorgh:
The key card in this deck, it is insanely easy to summon and disrupts opponents with ease AND has a very decent 2700 attack to contribute.
The Harpie Lineup:
This lineup has the most synergy with the deck, the harpies are the most individual ones, not being too dependent on attack boost cards like Harpie Lady 1, they are decent beaters, and above all Harpie Queen is very easy to get in the grave for a Simorgh.
The Blackwing Lineup:
The Blackwings are focused around beatdown aswell, I am not playing Vayu on purpose, because I feel that if I should play vayu, I would go against the main thing In the deck, and I would have to remove monsters from my grave which many of my cards dislike and I would have to commit way too many cards for it to work fully. 1 Sirroco is for the chance of starting with him and he is not often a dead draw. Shura and Bora are the main beaters; Bora’s pierce really comes in handy. Kalut is an obvious choice, Blizzard and gale are for the Synchro summoning of the blackwing synchros.
Spells:
Harpie’s hunting ground and Solidarity all give your monsters an attack boost, Harpie’s hunting ground is even a great s/t remover which comes in handy with the 2 Swallow’s nest I have packed which also help getting the correct monsters in the grave for Dark Simorgh. Black Whirlwind and Allure for draw. Rest are staples.
Traps:
Common staples, this deck can really afford to abuse Icarus attack. The best combo is to set Icarus attack, set monster, then clear their s/t’s in the end phase and summon Dark Simorgh, this will make your opponent unable to set any more s/t cards and or monsters. ^^
So far my testing with this deck has gone great; anyhow I think this hybrid has a bright future ahead of itself.
