TCG Player Server speed and the new updates

I believe on 6-6-7 a new software program was installed (VBulletin) for the TCG Player forum. Since this new software installation I have noticed the server has slowed down to somewhere between 4 and 8 times slower than it used to be.

At first I thought it was just traffic. But I checked back several times over the past two days to find most times I would click on a hyperlink and go to the bathroom and come back and it still hasn't loaded.

Has anyone else been experiencing this?

I am on a T1 connection that just got boosted and I can tell that TCG is slow because any other external web sites load up much faster.

If this problem persists, can we go back to the old way? I hate growing old like that.

Word brother. This sux. I am on a T-1 as well and the server takes for over to load forum pages. I am hoping that this can be fixed.

here here. Also, new articles are being added slower. Considering that it's Regionals time, I would think that they wouldn't want to mess with this stuff since they probably get more hits now than almost any time of the year...it's like Christmas

It isn't just forum pages taking forever to load... The site in general is just INSANELY slow. And it goes hot and cold. Sometimes it is fine, sometimes I can literally wait 15 minutes, the page won't load, but it also doesn't time out. Very strange.

Im on At1 as well. it was so slow last night i had so many gatway and server timouts you would swear you wer on MTGO. lol "the server is busy please try again later" sam thing on the blackberry forums too wonder if it's just the new version of v buliten acting up?
