Okay, i can't keep up with forums anymore. And I thought last years school was hard. Sorry people for faking you out on the last goodbye thread i put. It was only a short absence. But this time might be for longer than you think. My official dismissal sign will be once i reach my final goal. Might as well state the goals I put when I first came to these forums:



Change DuelYugioh
Meet and make new friends
Become at least a Power Player
Those that were here much longer before I came...I looked up to you. The only thing i had back then was a Starter Deck Yugi. Although the ranks have been renamed, their value has not. And let me tell you, I've learned a lot. To tell you the truth, I was and still am scared to enter a YGO tournament. The first league I was in, I was creamed by a BLS Envoy. Now, once I look back, the new forum members, I'm looking up to them too. Wow, actually, now that I think about it, DuelYugioh has changed soooo much. After my first deck was post and rated a 2.5 out of 10, I was disappointed. I quit DuelYugioh for 2 months. Then I came back, checked out forums, and was like "wow, I could learn something from these people." Despite the long post, I just wanted to say Thanks. To Staff and fellow forum members. If things go well, I should be back by next summer. See you around until then.

As I'm sure not many (if any) of you know, I am a member of the Army National Guard, and my time for duty has finally come.
As of tomorrow, I am going to Louisiana to help with the hurricane disaster relief.
I will most likely be gone for about 15-30 days.
After that, there is a good chance that I will be going to Afghanistan for a year or so after I get back from this mission.

So, it seems I won't be seeing any of you for a while, so be good, kk?

I would have started my own farewell thread, but seeing as to how nobody here knows me anymore, and those who do think I'm just a big whiner, I guess I'll post my farewell post on your thread Secret Spikey.

Well, I came here in summer of 2004, looking for information on Yugioh. The forums weren't very active back then, so I started a few games on the forums, card creations (which it would seem have been banned), deck creation, and a few others. It was a great time.

Then things changed. Most of the players on the games I started left or were banned. A lot of others left because of these bannings. New players came in. It all changed. Now, this place is pretty remote to me. So I have decided that it is best I leave, yes, I'm sure all of you who called me a whiner and wanted me to leave will be happy now. I join my comrades.

Props: GOING OUT TO ALL OF THE VETS! PROPS TO THOSE WHO RECOGNIZE THEM.

Adian- You were like the first person I met here. Always supportive. I know you probably won't read this, but you were awesome. I shoulda joined you after Cheese and Senius were banned unfairly, but props to you man.
The Dark Soul- You were there in my contests, one of the main players, very cool, miss you man.
Black Paladin- By far the most mature person on these forums. Sorry you had to leave, again, around the time everyone left. Now I join you, good luck in life.
Secret Spikey-I join you now. Thanks for being cool on the forums. I won't make 1k posts, but its been good with you guys. And thanks for letting me borrow this thread.
Cheeseknight- Banned unfairly. Unfortunate. Still, great guy, always there back in the day.

One (and the main) reason for it being me just not having enough time for it all, and another reason being pretty annoyed by how this site's backups were made...
I mean, no offense, but if I were to make such a backup for any of my clients' website, they'd go over to another web designers company.

But again, no offense and I do forgive them for that problem since I'm also aware of the fact that they were most likely powerless against it.

It's unfortunate that people are looking at the Site Crash as a negative, rather than a way to show what type of member they really are. This is a opportunity to almost create the Site from scratch and be more than just a name that appears every "now and then".

This is a opportunity to be part of something more, than just merely adding a post to one of THOUSANDS.

For those that have found that they have other things in life to occupy their time, that's the way life goes. You grow away from certain things you once held as a priority. So it's your time to move on, and that's okay, but as annoying as it was to lose all the information this Site had to offer old and new member's alike, it's NOT a time to "kick a man when he's down", so to say.

This site, as well as numerous other Yugioh Websites, was created as a way for people to gather together under one roof and enjoy the game. This last week has given more people a chance to enjoy it on another level, and that is by watching it regrow itself. Few people get a chance to see that happen, and the member's who have been around for the longest may have taken it for granted that success "just happens".

Anyway, good luck to all who choose this as a time to move away. This is, after all, just a small part of what life has to offer anyone.

Which is a 6 week program that helps you to better in college and get acquainted around before college actually starts. So after that is done taking up my entire summer, then I have the real deal to deal with, as well as work.

The masterwoo0 issue has been cleared up, at least for the moment, he is currently back from the ban. Chedy is still working on this.

And everyone on this site can do thier part in helping moderate the site, just click on the red/white/black caution sign in the posts you think are against the site rules and that will alert all of the mods. Remember: Report problems and don't post that you reported the post or add to the topic/posts as adding to the post might cause more issues.

Wow, its been a real long time since I've been around. All I see is new faces, no one i remember...

I hope you guys all don't mind me posting here again. For all that don't know me, I used to be active in the past...several years ago. I was really into the Fantasy card activities, I held several contests. This place has really changed from what it used to be. You may not care, but I just want to reflect on this site...and tell my story.

I'm glad I still remember my username/password. It feels great looking back. I've lost most contact with Yu-gi-oh, but it pops in here and there. I see booster packs (thats what they're called right?) at the store. Its amazing how many different ones there are now. Heh, I still remember my first Metal Raiders pack. My cousin has a yugioh book, and when I play Jump Ultimate Stars for the Nintendo DS, YuGiOh is in there. I guess I really was never disconnected from YGO. :D

Its been 6-7 years (can you believe that?) since I joined. When I first joined I expected authority and reputation to come easy. I learned that it takes a little work to get what you want. ;)

Little by little I gained some friends...no one that I remain in contact with today. I've grown up...(well 6-7 years really does take its toll)...and will be entering High School next year. I joined this community when I was in elementary :p.

Anyways, in my previous post here, I am no longer into Yugioh anymore. I'm really hooked on Halo (M-Rated First Person Shooter for the Xbox, for those who don't know), and am apart of a Halo community known as podtacular. Well, another goodbye for TCG...

Team Legend Zero, my team, was recently repromanded for advertising our website and events in out team thread. I know the rules and advertising for your team IN your team thread is far from breaking them. I do not see why me team, out of all of the team who have posted on TCG, would be singled out for PM's from teh admin of the site, repromanding us.

So, sincerly, and without trying to make a hastle, Team Legend Zero says goodbye to TCGPlayer forever. We are not trying to be vindictive by posting, merely explaining why so many people will not be able to contact the members of Team LZ on this site again.

I joined TCG in its early years, where La Jinn was borken, everyone decked Dragon Capture Jar, and summoning your Blue Eyes first ment game. That is the TCG i miss most, people have changed here, and i am sad to say nto for the better. My team feels exiled due to our obvious vigor in creating events and inviting people to take part in them.

I really see no point in coming here at all, and the only reason that I did come back was to make sure everything was running smoothly. It seems like I am not needed to play my part openly, so I will be pulling some strings from the shadows:D. This does not mean that you guys wont see me anymore, it just means you will see less of me here, atleast for the moment.

I need to find as much time as possible to study for my exams, which are going to be incredibly difficult. So I will not be able to come on here at all.
