Here's my question. Okay, first you have a GBA, a GameCube, and a Nintendo DS. You have EVERY SINGLE VERSION of the latest and the oldest Pokemon games, INCLUDING the games from GameCube, as well. Starting with the Yellow version, keep Pikachu and at least one of the Legendary birds they let you attempt to catch. Put Yellow down for a while and start playing your Red and your Blue. Get all 3 starters (Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur) through trading, as well as their legendary birds that were missed in Yellow, with whichever one catching which. Put all from your Red and your Blue that you've gotten and put it on the Yellow.
Okay, I know this part is possible, but here's the more interesting thing I pondered. On Pokemon Gold, Crystal, and Silver, there are 3 new starters: Totodile, Cyndaquil, and Chikorita, as well as these Legendary Creatures: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune for the Legendary Dogs, Ho-Oh and Lugia. Using the Gameshark or the Action Replay, you can also obtain Mew and Celebi. Get them as well through LOTS OF PLAYTIME, REDOING, AND DEDICATION WITH TRADING, amogst the two versions until all are caught either with Master Balls each time, trade to Blue or Red, and then trade to Yellow.
Alright, now we put them all down and start up the FireRed and LeafGreen, versions, which have Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander for starters, but I'm not sure what Legends are available in the storylines...
Using Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire, get all starters (Treeko, Mudkip, and Torchic) the Legendaries on the box covers (Groudon, Rayquaza, and Kyogre), and any other Legends (I'm missing Deoxys, Latios, Latias, and Jirachi--if there are more, please let me know...) available that I missed in the list of Legends per version onto either the FireRed or the LeafGreen version.
FINALLY, there are the Legendaries (Palkia and Dialga, as well as Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit) and the starters (Piplup, Chimchar, and Turtwig) from the Diamond and Pearl versions. Only, let's say you have a double of one of them, since you cannot trade with only one DS, and you must finish these versions, in order to trade with the last 5 versions listed above. You play through the games and catch one legendary each time you get these. Maybe you want to catch them all and spend 3 to 4 years using Master Balls on all of the Legends, to ENSURE the capture of these Legendaries, in all of these versions...or, become lazy and cheat through with getting 99 Master Balls and give enough to each traded legend and starter. Whatever the case, my question is this:

CAN YOU KEEP TRADING UP TO THE LATEST VERSION TO GET ALL LEGENDARIES AND ALL STARTERS UP INTO YOUR COMPLETED DIAMOND AND PEARL GAMES, OR COMPLETELY FINISH ONE OF THE DIAMOND OR ONE OF THE PEARL VERSIONS BY DOING THIS???? I'm talking NO CHEATING, just TRADING AND RESTARTING...PLZ, let me know if this will work?? :D thanx, rach:confused:

This would only work if there was a Gamecube game capable of trading to R/B/Y/G/S/C and Fr/LG/R/S/E. Then, you could trade with RBYGSC to that game, then that to FrLgRSE, then use the PalPark in DP to upload them. But you'd need a GCN game capable of trading with every game (except DP) and I don't know if that exists.

There is no possible way of trading from a GB/C era game to a GBA or DS game as of right now.

Also, there are about a half dozen Pokemon in DP (probably more) that can only be obtained through a special event outside the game. Only Manaphy and Fione are currently available. Darkrai, Arceus, and a few others can't be found inside the game and must be obtained from these special events.

Chances are, it will never be possible to transfer anything from the first 2 generations forward to the newer generations, they were programmed completely different back then, it would take a programme that would replicate the old pokémon with the use of new coding. Its doable on paper, however its a lot more difficult than that, plus they have since made every single pokémon available on these generations therefore its not needed as such.

Well, if you can trade from FR/LG/R/S to the new games, then yes. Because you can get every legendary in those games... So yes, it might be possible. Although I'm not sure as I don't have D/P...

It's not "trade". It's more "import". You don't trade from RSERG to DP. You import them after you've beaten the E4 and gotten the National Pokedex.

After you beat the E4 and get your National Pokedex, there's this place called the Pal Park. It's by Route 220.
