I'd love to be able to pull one from a Pack, but for the most part, I have had to "pull" 4 of the 6 I do have from ebay, and with their recent decline in SJC Top 8's, the prices are dropping....

I would like to know where all these Grandmasters are coming from. I have only seen 2 since they were released. And buying one is very expensive. So why does every Six Samurai deck posted on the net have 2 or 3 (usually 3) Grandmasters? Is there some secret to getting them or do you have to just fork over 150 to 200 dollars to build that deck? (Puzzled)

i got my playset from the sneek peek as i get playsets of all promos i bring my wife and her sister they get the packs and promos then go home

i had my ss deck built before sneek peek because when i found out about them i fell in love with them (i just love samurai in general so when they made samurai cards well i wanted them when they talked about how good the were i REALLY wanted them)

This is not meant to be smart aleck comment, but if you did not see potential of Grandmaster from Sneak Preview, then it is understandable why you do not have Grandmaster (maybe you not go to Preview). I myself attend Preview, but there is limit to receiving Promo Card, so I only get one, and immediately buy 2 from Ebay for under 20 dollars each. Now, you can only make to find Grandmaster that low from Grab-bag Scammer or Lot Sale Scam.

I used to have one from the sneak peek, but foolishly traded it away as at the time I didnt think six samurai would be a top tier deck, and just recently I traded for my only one, and its not going anywhere. One of my friends actually pulled one, but then promptly sold it on ebay for 50.

I foolishly thought Samurais were bad....until i fell head over heels for them. GLAS will hopefully bring Sami decks into top tier....but if they don't, I think we'll see everyone canning Samurai decks.

Yeah, it sounds smart aleck. Saying you don't mean it to sound that way doesn't change that. It doesn't even answer my question. The only part of your comment that is helpful is saying that you attended the Sneak Preview to get your cards. And BTW, I did know how good the card would be before it came out but I had the flu that week so I could not go. Do not assume other people's reasons for not doing things are the same as yours would be.

So what should I assume from you asking about a card that have been out for over Six Months now. Pre Release is over and so should your excuse for not going. I give you benefit of doubt, now I just see that you are not very smart, and this is not assumption.

Well that's a silly question. Just assume I don't have the card yet. I thought that would be easy to figure out.

Pre Release is over and so should your excuse for not going.
Why should my excuse be "over" as you say. What does that mean? I can't change the reason for not going. Should I make up a new excuse? This is confusing.

I give you benefit of doubt, now I just see that you are not very smart, and this is not assumption.
This doesn't even make sense. You can't give me the benefit of doubt and say I'm not smart at the same time. I guess you're just being mean. How old are you? I would guess 6 or 7. Please post again if you have a helpful comment. That would be more mature than insulting someone just to show off that you have a card and I do not.

I gave you benefit of doubt that you did not know how good card would be, and after Six Months, if you play Yugioh at least once or twice (this is obvious because you say you missed Preview you have played since at least March), and visit forum for Yugioh, you should know how good he is, so to ask why he is good is foolish question, just like asking why Monster Reborn is good, or Cyber Dragon. If you cannot tell for yourself, then there is nothing left to assume. You did not ask for opinion of Grandmaster, you ask why he is good. If I was to brag, I would make list of ALL cards I own. That is bragging.

Do not start argument you are not very good at. You just look more silly than you do now.

Oooohhh, now I get it. Here's the real answer to this: We both look silly. I posted my original question to ask how everyone is getting all these Grandmasters because I can't get any. And if you missed the Sneak Preview, it is almost impossible to find them now unless you pay $60 on Ebay or something. I have been trying to find them for months but nobody has any except online.

You thought I was asking why everyone wants a Grandmaster. If that was my actual reason for posting, then it would sound foolish. He is obviously a good card.

After reading my original post again, this part
<<"So why does every Six Samurai deck posted on the net have 2 or 3 (usually 3) Grandmasters? Is there some secret to getting them...">>
sounds like it could be taken either way. Maybe I should have worded the question differently. So I guess we both misunderstood each other. No hard feelings. I'm glad that's cleared up (lol).

I apologize as well. Communication is difficult for me sometimes and sometimes I misunderstand small detail.

Don't forget that every six sam deck doesn't have grandmaster, they just say they have them.
like if you post 2 grandmaster, every idiot would say add in another grandmaster. if you post 0 grandmaster, everyone labels you as a noob and doesnt help you at all. I have two grandmasters, sadly(one incoming from ebay), and i had to post that i had three grandmasters for monsths because half the posts would be from the aformentioned idiots. it just idiotic. gits

You may be on to something there. I noticed every time I see a new deck posted without Mirror Force (Adv) or Rageiki (Trad), someone suggest to add them. That's pointless most of the time since these cards are very hard to find. I have been playing for almost 3 years and I don't own either one. If I see a deck without them, I assume the poster does not have them. But others may not think of it that way for some reason. So I guess the same thing could happen with some of the Six Samurai threads (although I don't think all of them). Thanks for the input. I would not have thought of that.

how very very true lol.

but seriously, if I could have a time machine to bring me back to the sneak peek for strike of neos, I so would have spent $20 three times, 2 on saturday, and one on sunday, just to get the promos, and trade my you know what off just to get more, as they go for more than $50 on ebay, and some crazy people will give outrageous ammounts of money and cards for them, which just sweetens the deal just a little more ;)
