I'm starting a tournament for D/P using WIFI. I'm still debating on the rules.

For now it's...

1.Up to 24 entries aloud! I will or lower or heighten the number depending on the number of people wamting to enter.
2.Single Elemination! If you lose your out.
3.If you forfeit you lose.
4.Any levels will be allowed in the match.
5.No Ubers aloud!
6.No cloned pokemon allowed!
7.PM me or post here to enter!
8.Have fun!

ALSO: I have been informed by Lord-Darkrai that sometimes you cannot access wifi when you are to close to electronics. The start date will be in May and it will last however long it need to. This will give everyone time to sign up and make a team.

Can you find a exact date so I know when I need to finish my competitive team by? Ubers should be banned IMO. Whats a cloned pokemon?

The person who is teamed with me will probably get a free W since my WIFI connection is very faulty :p

In my opinion, ubers should be banned. The only time they shouldn't be banned, is if you plan on holding an uber tournament, otherwise almost all competitive tournaments ban the use of any and all Tier 1 and Tier 2 Pokemon (save for Slaking, due to its Truant Ability). Also, Wobbuffets are usually banned as well, for a specific reason (I'll explain at the bottom of this post). By cloned Pokemon, I imagine you mean banning the use of more than one Pokemon of the same species (e.g. 2 or more Dusclops, 2 or more Magmars, etc). Also, another rule that's usually enforced is Items Clause: no two or more Pokemon may have the same item equipped, such as a Slaking and a Rampardos on the same team with a Choice Band. Allowing any level is perfectly fine; there's nothing wrong with that. That's about all I can think, I'll give more as I go along. On a side note, count me in for the tournament. Of course, this means I'll need to double time my training; I have a level 100 Roserade, Togekiss, and Kingdra. I'm working on Dusknoir, and will work on Rhyperior and another Physical Sweeper (I'm thinking Weavile). XD

The Banning of Wobbuffet

Why Wobbuffet is banned is for one reason; The moveset, Encore, Mirror Coat, Counter, and Destiny Bond/Safeguard, while equipped with Leftovers. If both opponents have a Wobbuffet of that kind in his/her party, and it's the only Pokemon they both have left, the battle will quite literally, last forever with no end, thus ending in a forced draw. That's about the gist of it.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! this sounds fun. Im in. what exactly is an uber. are lv 100's ubers cause if that is what they are that sucks for me. here's a preveiw of my team lv 100 shiny lucario lv50 shiny blaziken. both shinies i obtained by myself and with not cheats or hacks. good luck to all who participate.:D:D:D:p oh and it feels like in in the past with the TCGplayer forums failure. now i'm way back with 7 posts waaahhhhhhhh!!! lol oh and congrats bull to becoming a mod.

Also, Latias and Latios are only legal if their not equipped with the Soul Dew. That's about the gist of it all. Needless to say, this ban list only goes by the general ban list in most official tournament rules, meaning this is only a suggestion (and a strong one at that). Either way, Tak, I do thank you for the banning of ubers, that way, battles can become more fair and competitive.

what am I up against. can i get an idea of how good you guys are cause if all your pokemon are at lv 100 i will get very lucky if i win. What is the exact date and time for this. shouldn't we tell eachother our friend codes? here's mine.

It's fine I just don't want anyone to get in trouble. Sadly, the forums will not be back to the way they were. But Unimatrix posted some ideas to make the forum better in the mod house. I only have 3 LV100 right now and only one is EV trained. I received the other two from people in Japan. Apparently they did not EV train. I'll be working on a few pokemon. I only have a few in mind. I may use my awesome Shiny Scizor though :D

Sorry, I don't have his code. I guess we could, it's probably going to take place in June. I don't know what the exact date will be but I'll give it time so people can enter and trade. I'll be in Florida form May 25 to June 7th or so.

More like my speed run is my top priority right now. I'm just in the trial and error phase right now, but I'm hitting Valley Windworks at about 36 minutes, which I think isn't too bad...

I wouldn't mind battling someone now, provided the person doesn't use ubers. My rules are this: 4 on 4 battle, no level limit, no ubers, each Pokemon must carry a different item, and you can't use more than one of the same Pokemon. Of course, this is for anyone who wants to battle. My Friend Code is in the Friend Code thread.
