Looter il-kor (By:Magicthegathering.com)
1U
creature -kor Rogue
Shadow(this creature can block or be blocked by only creatures with shadow.)
Whenever Looter il-kor deals damage to an opponent, draw a card then discard a card.
Unable to touch items of value, he goes forth to steal secrets instead.
1/1
Common
Seems to me, this will be seen mostly at the UB reanimator deck.

its okay, but it doesnt refill your hand. Reanimator doenst have much for targets atm and i would rather just compulsive those to the 'yard.

This might fuel some interesting deck with the new living death card. or at least help to fuel it. Mill the crap outta youself with this+glimpse+ compulsive then Living Death it back into play...

Sort of a rather underpowered Dimir Cutpurse eh? Well, I'm sure we'll see worse commons than this, it's not all that bad, though I doubt it will see play.

I could see something with Crucible of Worlds coming back in. You aren't really loosing a card then, just playing it out of the graveyard.

It's pretty decent for a common in limited. Provided you have a couple cards in your hand.

It's a really nice card for limited and could see play in a UW weenie deck or Madness instead of Thought Courier.

I certainly wont straight up disagree with you analysis, as I can see uses for this card myslef, but would you care to explain your statement a little further. Why is it "amazing?"

its great that it will get through 95% of the time, but the fact that i have to play something for a 2 drop that wont chump block for me near the end takes away the good part of it.
Drawing cards is good, being able to live to play the cards i draw is better

it's not hopeless.
this one 2 molervine on 3 makes problems.
at least it's a fun common that makes you want to try to make it work in somthing.

not bad? for a common? wow this card is reaaaaally good.
draw a card then discard a card is almost as good as just draw a card, in current environment. should be uncommon btw.

Its a good card, im sure it will find some decks, maybe psychatog or something. Its a grave filler, hand manipulator, evasive small creature.

maybe in a UG sui-aggro build with Silhana Ledgewalkers, armors and cloaks, etc
under-powered merfolk looter IMO.

So so. Yawn.
its amazing and anyone who says otherwise is addled.
What's so amazing about it? I'd rather have a Merfolk Looter.

The looter and the courier are the same card really and so is this but this guy get's in a pt of dmg also. It's not a bad card and might see some SB play in a U deck if shadow creatures become a problem for the U player.

I would roughly put this a little below the power level of ninja of the deep hours. It reminds me alot of Ninja of the deep hours, and can do things better than them too. doesn't have to have to have an attacker go in its place to be the most effective to do its thing, but alas, it can be countered.

under-powered merfolk looter IMO.
Why is it worse than Merfolk Looter? It does the same thing plus a point of damage, and the artwork looks really cool!

wel, basically, the reason why i like it is it's merfolk loter with a ping attached to it. i dont care if i have to keep discardng, im going to card quality over quantity.
easily going into battle of wits decks, or potentially any combo deck that wants to dig for more cards a turn, free after the initial investment.

Yeah that sutha suckerd going into my. Wits deck as soon as I get a set ithink after this set the deck becomes jus as playabl as it eis now. But after ts hits it becomes mor affordable to play anmd the searching quality goes ip a little too
