worship doesnt cost 7 and worship isnt 2 vulnerable types.
we already know troll and vec are sticking around....
and did angel really see any play outside of a sometimes tutored one of in tooth? no...
but even now theorists question themselves wether their new deck can beat worship before testing...
i dont have to remind everyone that ravnicas spot removal and kokushos drain will have little to no influence when 10 comes out... and that any big dumb angel flying around is going to eat a hurricane and youre going to lose....

platinum angel is my pick, it has timmy written all over it, and its much cooler than worship, i dont see worship used that much but i think that the angel would actually make a difference for timmys, johnnys, and even spikes

well.... how long has it been since worship has made an impact on standard? its rarely seen now, though with the coming sets it may have a place. platinumm angel, on the other hand, WILL at least find her place in control.

in all of my time playing standard, i have only once seen worship on the table in my friend's march-obliterate deck back in mirrodin/CHK t2 (drop march, make indestructible dudes with worship down, beat face till obliterate, thx.)
that being said, angel wins my vote.

Even with Mortify in the mix and it's partner in crime, Naturalize, Worship can be a pain to deal with unless they reprint something like (Living Death), Exhume, or Recurring Nightmare, Platinum Angel blows donkeys

I picked angel because I would rather deal with it than a Worship. Even though Worship sees little play as it is, I have an easier time getting rid of the angel...

I wouldn't mind seeing Platinum Angel in 10th, problem is she can get killed easily unless she's equipped with Lightning Greaves.

Speaking of Lightning Greaves, maybe Wizards should reprint it for 10th or 11th Edition...

I have 2 plat Angels sitting around, and I still am amazed that this will be a Timmy thing vs a better card thing. Then again, when I think of a potential Troll Ascetic and Worship lock, and G/x once again being way to powerful, maybe it is better that Platinum Angel will be voted in.

those cards gave you an effective reanimatior deck and mad the stratagy worth playing but stuff like debtos knell and zombify and that golgari spell( cant name it off at the moment
point is they pail in comarison to those ranimator spells if they di alot of the over costed lcretures in rave block would be worth playing hec sdadek ans sisters of stone death would see some action

Somehow I think more people would try to create a Platinum Angel deck with the 10th/Rav/Time blocks than Worship. It's just a cool card, in and out, and it would be a much better candidate in the rare slot.

worship is an all around better card, taking it out of the core set just like kird ape is a mistake.
