Ok could someone clarify Devine Wrath for me? My reading of it is if you summon an effect monster and try to use the effect Devine Wrath can destroy the monster, but at the time it was summoned. I was playing a friend and had summoned Great Maju Garzett he had been on the field for four turns when my friend flipped Devine Wrath to destroy him. Can it work like that?

No, Maju Garzett's effect is continuous, so technically, his effect never activated.
Just like you can't use it on Spell cancellor.
ps : I am not positive, so I will try to get some help.

No, they could not have used divine wrath on Maju Garzett, as they would have missed the timing by a lot.
His effect is also continuous if I remember correctly, and you can not chain divine wrath to continuous effects (this is why you can't use divine wrath on Jinzo)

It doesn't have to be when he's summoned, just when his effect activates. But because his effect hasn't "activated", you can't use it. that simple.

Okay... You cannot activate Divine Wrath on monsters with Continuous Effects like Jinzo, Spell Canceller, Great Maju Garzett, Horus The Black Flame Dragon LV6, etc.
This is because the effect never "activated" in the first place, it was always there. And since Divine Wrath can only be activated to the activation of an effect, like Man-Eater Bug, these monsters cannot be Targeted.
Does that clear it up for you? If not, I can get the absolute ruling on it.
