Hi
Can anyone clear this up for me? The effect of the above card is open to many discussion in the place I dual. For instance once sent to the graveyard through battling I monster reincarnated it from my opponents graveyard, my opponent then used a trap card to destroy it .He says because it comes back to his graveyard it came back after the next turn and destroyed all my spell and trap cards. Was this right as it seems like a bit of a dodgy move to me.So could someone please explain how this effect is used?

wait, monster reincarnation? Do you mean monster reborn? If so, then yes. It doesn't matter whose card destroyed Sacred Phoenix, as long as it was destroyed. Since the Phoenix is sent to your Opp's graveyard, it will be sp summoned to his side of the field during his next stand by phase. And when Sacred Phoenix is summoned by his own effect, he will destroy every magic and trap cards on the field, not just yours. I hope this help.

Well I have a question... Does the Sacred Phoenix effect activate when it is sent to the graveyard by a card effect either from hand or deck? It's effect says on when destroyed... When it is discarded by a card effect does it activate..?

Sacred Phoenix only triggers when it is destroyed. Not 'discarded' or 'sent', it has to be destroyed by a card effect.
Normally it would have to be on the field for this to happen, but there are a few cards that can destroy a card in hand, Elemental Hero Aqua Neos is one.

So you say that, Sacred Phoenix of Nephtys effect isn't triggerd by Gravekeeper's Servant, Spirit Reaper, Card Destruction, White Magical Hat... Except E-Hero Aqua Neos..? Thanks this would help greatly... :)

All those effects you mentioned are 'discard' effects, not 'destroy' effects, so none of them trigger Sacred Phoenix's effect.
Elemental Hero Aqua Neos 'destroys' cards in hand, so it would trigger the Phoenix's effect (and does not trigger Dark World monsters)

2 Questions:
What about if my opponent destroys a Premature Burial (or Call of the Haunted) attached to my Phoenix with Heavy Storm?
Does Morphing Jar #2 "destroy" Phoenix?

Morphing Jar #2 doesnt destroy anything. The effect sends all monster cards on the field back to their owners Deck (that arent destroyed in Battle). That doesnt mean they are "destroyed".
