whats ur favorite set

I created this thread so you can post what is your favorite set and why.
My 2 favorite sets are Pharaonic Guardian and Invasion Of Chaos
Pharaonic Guardian is 1 of my favorite bcause it bringed ancients egypt card and good card like Ring Of Destruction , Don Zaloog and Spirit Reaper.
Invasion Of Chaos gave my deck a major boost bcause my deck was light and dark pretty weird huh but it was very good and with the chaos monsters it maked my deck even better

I favor Pharaonic Guardian as well. The reasons you gave are my reasons... also with the additon of Pyramid Turtle and Gravekeepers. Pizzown'd!

My favorite sets would be LOB and MRD for most of the older players those sets had alot of the staples!!!

MFC and IOC

MFC because it offered a major support for my Magician Decks and IOC because if broke the metagame and released Dark Magician of Chaos

IOC is my favorite it brought us Black Luster Soldier - Envoy Of The Beginning and Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy Of The End also gave birth to Chaos decks.

PGD! I love the cards like jackal, helpoemer, spinx, zaloog, spirit reaper etc etc I also loved IOC on the basis that although chaos totally re-wrote the meta, it made it a real challenge to beat and i got to make my strike ninja deck, which is my favorite to date.

LOD is prolly still the oldest set with the most monsters in play still. But, I loved IOC and Dark Crisis as well. DCR had Vamp Lord, D.D. Warrior Lady, Reflect Bounder and such. LOD had Yata, Injection, Fiber, Ariknight, the big Fusions, and some other really sweet cards.

i like all sets (except LOB, because it got destroyed after the Advanced Format (which WAS a good idea). and to LazyMan, the only reason i like IOC, is because it has my favorite monster, Berserk Gorilla! if it didnt have my precious, IOC would be crap!!! CRAP I SAY!!!

i'd stick with db1 since it brought a new look to some cards (mainly DM and REBD) and has all the staples, next would be IOC for the Envoys and DMOC

Becuase Pharaoh's Servant gave us, for the first time the possibility to COUNTER. In this set, we had the release of the two best COUNTER DISRUPTOR ever: JINZO AND IMPERIAL ORDER.
Besides, remeber that Premature Burial and Call of the Haunted, the best revival cards in advanced format, belong to this set.

So, i think this set ROX. It has changed the YUGIOH scenario, and some of these cards are very common choices to a lot of advanced decks.

Just one more thing: No offense for those who voted in IOC, but JESUS, forget about Chaos just for a second.
