Looks promising, I hope its better than Colosseum. The graphics are pretty too. @_@

wow this game looks way better tahn colloseum, xd gale of darkness and stadium 1 and 2. The characters seem to be the ones from leafgreen and firered and the graphics are really cool. you see groudon, wailord, pickachu and dioxys. now that its on the Wii i hope that there will be wi-fi and downloadable extras. maybe downloadable pokemon or other stuf. i'll definately getting it. When is it comming out?
The game is scheduled for release in Japan this winter, which could make it a launch title.
So we can expect the US release early next year.

alrighy=t i'll be getting this along with Super Smash Bros Brawl. Also it would be cool if there was online trading. That would be cool.
With the Wii's online features its entirely possible, however I feel gamefreak may prevent that without the use of friend codes, purely because of people doing bogus trades etc over the internet....
Still as a game this could be the first real time battle system, that will have serious implications on the audience and in general how the battle works... I mean the game has always been criticised for the fact you have battles "without boundaries" such as the fact you could miss with a fire attack in a patch of grass to have no effect to the arena etc... This idea that they affect the landscape is really interesting... I hope they do it well... ^_^

I think that IGN might be mistaken on that release date. Several reliable sources have stated that it's going to be Christmas 2007, or a year from now. I'm being cautiously pessimistic until I hear something straight from NIntendo.

I totally dig the idea that you can destroy stuff -- imagine a hyperbeam going off in a fully crowded League tournament ... lol ... that would rock...
Tha would be very funny IMO. I don't care when it releases, as long as it's good. I'd like to see an actual badge collecting, elite four beating type of game.

I'll be getting it, whether it has good reviews or not.
I REALLY do hope they make this a good game though. Colosseum and XD were real let downs, and I really didnt like them at all. The story line was simply crap, battle scenes and talking took far too long and made it a drag to get through, especially Mt Battle. I dont wanta see another Shadow Pokemon, or have that region back, nor anything related to it. I wanta see a completely new game with "proper" pokemon cries and not the GBA 8bitwhatever sounds. If they do that though then i'll be angry but will still play it, mainly for the graphics since they're a massive improvement from XD.

The official word on it, from every source I've read, is that Battle Rev will be released shortly after D/P, which are set to hit Japan later this year. Xmas '07 seems far too late. Maybe that'll be when it hits NA or the UK, but it should be out in Japan by early '07. For one thing, it'll be the first Wii title to show off the in-game DS-Wii connectivity, so you'd think they'd want to get it out early.

the idea that it's on Wii makes me think that you could actually go through the motions of "come on out" -- actually throwing the pokeball out into the arena ... what'd be funny is if you could make your trainer do all sorts of the stupid poses Ash & co do when they order pokemon around or catch one... :D
I'd like to see customizable characters for this game. I could see that for an MMORPG,(if they ever make one.) but I'd also like to see it in the regular games. I think it's safe to say that a lot of people hate the look of the main characters in Collosseum and XD. I do at least. The ones for gameboy were ok, but I think it would be nice to have the people be able to customize their own look, that way we don't look the same.
