Dude, i played runescape once, and it was trash! What is so great about it, or did i go into an older version, or something like that.

World of warcraft is possibly the funnest game ive ever played, you get loads of quests, kick *** instances, great classes to choose from, and great end game material.

yeah i was pretty successful at runescape but then there were never any updates, everything got repetative, noobs front left and center and not only that but it turned out to be more of a chore in the end.

Dude Runescape blows. Seriously. From a programming perspective, Runescape is like an old NES game. Not like one of the great classics - I mean ten-minute engine BS that is so infantile that a 56k wouldn't lag. It's even more simplistic than Morrowind. The data transferring is seriously that craptastical. The only redeeming attribute to Runescape is the amount of maps.

I could design a better MMORPG than Runescape using the WC3 World Editor and hosting it on custom games through Battle.net.

WoW, on the other hand, is a great game. Well-done in many ways and WAY too addictive. I don't play simply because I'd get too addicted and there's no way I could get my college studying done at the same time.

EDIT: I am a Morrowind fan. I was only mentioning how crappily it was programmed when compared to other games of the time period.

I hate Rune Scape. Most of my friends play it, and I think they have their own language with it. Seriously, they worship that game. It has corrupted my entire town.
