We've all had moments of brilliance. We should share them.

Just now I was playing my bats deck against an enduring ideal deck. His hand was very controlling, but I was able to bait his WoGs with single creatures wearing jitte, and I castigated a compulsive research. Still, he had 10 mana on the table, and a stream of confiscates/fetters would probably lose me the game, as I had no mortify, but a number of useless faith's fetters, and without maindeck cranials, he can still suck out a win off the top..

Here's the board position:

Opponent: 9 life, 1 card in hand, opponent's turn
2 foundry, 4 other lands, 2 signets, and a boseiju.

Me: 21 life, 6 cards
8 mana from lands and signets
2 Phyrexian arena, Faith's fetters on boseiju (for lifegain; they're not useful otherwise)
Skeletal vampire, 2 bats (1 equipped with jitte w/ 2 counters).
Hand - 2 Jitte, 2 lands, 1 signet, 1 Blind Bunter

He hardcasts a confiscate, and correctly takes the skeletal vampire who remains tapped (he's seen a blind hunter in my grave, and suspects I have another).

On my turn, I topdeck 1 land, 1 fetters, and 1 teysa.

Check out this play:
-swing with both bats, pump bat A to 5/5 with jitte, +2 counters on jitte. Opponent at 3.
-Play teysa.
-Play Blind Hunter. Opponent at 1.
-Remove counter from jitte to kill bat B. Put a white spirit A into play.
-Sacrifice teysa, white spirit A, and blind hunter to RFG confiscated skeletal vampire. Put white spirit B into play. Haunt 5/5 bat A with hunter.
-Pass the turn.
-Upkeep, remove counter from jitte to kill bat A, trigger hunter, end the game.

not really my most awesome play, but my quickest win at a FNM so far

i'm playing Firemane Wierding vs. Goblins

I start it off with an Adarkar Wastes, Top
he plays Mountain, Frenzied Goblin
I play a mountain and pass
he plays another mountain and another frenzied goblin, in respone i top....i'm looking at a drift of phantasms, honden of cleansing fire, zur's wierding....i offer to let him concede...he laughs and attacks for 1.
i play another island and a honden of Infinite rage, pass the turn....
he goes plays another mountain and a goblin king, swings for 4 passes
i play a shivan reef, drop the honden of cleansing fire, pass
he goes, plays a mountain, attacks for 6, passes
i go, shoot the king, gain 4 and play the zur's weirding....

he sees a helix in my hand and groans, scoops and gives me the 2-0....total time 4 minutes....almost faster than my first round at the GP during Invasion Block....and i actually played both games there

In a top eight game for semi's, Urza's/Masques block standard.
(me)Red/Green LD V (opponent)Black/Green LD

I'm on 3 life, 6 land in play, no other permanents, no cards in hand. They have Masticore and two BoP, no land, no cards in hand.

Opponent: Concede?
Me: You never know I could get pillage.
*Opponent points to his BoP regen shield
Opponent: Your turn.
*I draw
Me: Tap two mountains and a forest for pillage targeting Masticore
Opponent: Regenerate with the two BoP's
Me: You can't regenerate from pillage.
Opponent: What!? What does Bury mean? Judge please.
Judge: Yeah bury means you can't regenerate.
Me: Concede?
*Opponent draws
Opponent: Your turn
*I draw
Me: Tap three mountains and three forests, play Crater Hellion. Concede?

Hehe he didn't even scoop. No permanents in play. xD I Think I am one of the luckiest top deckers I know.

I'll never forget this play in our casual game because my friend Bill stood up and left the room as I was doing it.

My other friend Chris is still shuffling his deck at this point...

I have Mox Ruby, Mountain, Mox Emerald, Berserk, Sneak Attack, Serra Avatar and Mana Vault, draw Lotus Petal (because we always drew first turn in our casual circle)

Play Mountain, cast Mana Vault, play both Moxes, play Sneak attack, play Lotus Petal. Sac Petal to Sneak in the avatar, attack and berserk just because I was being a jerk.

Chris was still shuffling his deck and looked up to ask me what was going on.

By far my favorite and funniest Magic moment ever.

This was in Extended pre-rotation.

My opponent, playing Teen Titans, Cabal Therapied himself, dumping Sundering Titan. Revealing his hand, he showed that his reanimation spell was Exhume.

I was playing Opposition, but my hand was all basic lands; no Coast or Cradle. So I did the only sensible thing. I didn't play a land, then discarded a Sakura-Tribe Elder during my cleanup. My opponent then proceeded not to Exhume because he wanted to at least blow one land and not just give me a free Elder.

I was playing my orzhov deck against my friends izzet deck. I had a martyrd rusalka on the feild being haunted by a graven dominator. He had a bunch of creatures that were no use because of faith fetters and pillory of sleepless. He was able to however pump a wee dragonauts to be a 14/3 he said he had me beat and attacked because it could only be blocked by defenders so my shreiking grotesque couldn't stop it. I then sacrificed my martyrd rusalka so the graven dominators ability accord and it turned to a 1/1 and he gave up becaused he was pissed.
