Very vulnerable, but gets in extra damage in U/R decks where you'll have plenty of instants and sorceries to make him untap.

He looks great. Many decks will have to save some removal for this guy. He'll have to be sided out against mirror IMO

May be good in the board agains small creature decks and against Vitu-gahzie the city tree

i don't know if he'll be good enough to play; pretty slow, very vulnerable at one toughness and few other small izzets. But will definitely be very strong in limited.

It should have haste...if I am going to pay that much for a spell just for it to die to darkblast I am going to be PISSED.

Should be able to do 2 damage or more per turn. Tap, cast an instant or sorcery, untap, tap again to make 2. More if you are holding the right cards.

Goblin Sharpshooter (http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/search_result_card.asp?id=10528) would have been better against Ghazi Glare.

well...if you have UURR of mana and this guy out....you can Tap the guy, Play a Shock, Untap Tap the guy, Lava Spike, Untap Tap the guy, and Telling time or something, Untap Tap the guy...

Thats 9 damage....not to bad. It might be evil in limited if all you do is stuff a deck with instants and Sorcerys.

And wtf is with a creature type of 'Weird'? I'm telling you it's a pokemon!! They took the pokemon Electrode and added a G to it.

The tim ablility at that cost is nice, but he is really fragile and in limited you probably arent playing enough instants and sorcs to make his untap ablity to much of a beating.

How does Gelectrode's ability interact with replicate and Izzet Guildmage? Can he be tapped and untapped in between replications (or duplications?)
