Wow, it's been months since I've been here, I only just picked up ppokemon again a couple days ago after not playing it for months and when I come here there's a private message waiting for me from two days ago! how's THAT for timing? ^_^ Anyway, I come back with a request, I totally understand codes are not to be discussed and least of all posted on here (which ironically was my whole point for posting back here after so long, as well as I noticed the other poster online here asking for what I'm asking for, kinda) but I really need to know a couple of things.

DO NOT POST CODES HERE! I DO NOT WANT THEM ON HERE AS THAT VIOLATES SITE RULES! (Although if you wanna pm me with links, I wouldn't be opposed to that!)

Is the PAR code on that Game Frequently Asked Questions site (subtle huh?) for Fire Red, does it actually make the tickets work in the game? I had to restart my Fire Red, and I was curious as to whether or not I can make the tickets work, because I really want them to work, but I'm far too early in the game to find out yet and I'm hoping someone has tried them and can tell me if they work or not.

Also, for Emerald, is there any way (outside of travelling to Japan or New York) to get the tickets (Aurora, Mystic, and Old Sea Chart) and have them actually work in the game? (Pm me a link if you have it, do NOT post them on this thread!)I already know how to get the EON ticket, and it's in my Saphire version waiting to be linked with Emerald, but I really want to know if there's anyway to get the other tickets for Emerald version. Thank you. And mods, I'm assuming since I am neither posting codes nor asking them to be posted and I am just asking for information that it is OK (since I have posted threads like this in the past when I was a heavy poster here and on the previous boards) but if it is not okay, then I'm very sorry for breaking the rules. I know that codes are not allowed, but I am assuming that asking for info is okay. All I really want to know is if it's possible to get the Fire Red Tickets to work in Fire Red, and if it's possible to get the tickets in Emerald and to get them to work in Emerald. I apologise if I am breaking any rules, but like I said, I have posted topics like this in the past and they were okay then, so I'm basically working on a possibly out-of-date principle. Thanks for ANYONE that can help! I REALLY want to know if I can get those tickets to work (or even get them at all)

As far as I know, there have been no other events planned for countries which arent Japan or USA.

From what I have read in places, I dont know if it's 100% correct for Aurora, Mystic, and Old Sea Chart but I know it worked for Eon, that if someone has that ticket in their game and you mix records with them, you obtain a copy of that same ticket yet it only works the 1st few times. I suppose you could read it on Serebii somewhere to confirm it, since they have everything, otherwise just try it out with someone that you can find which has one of those tickets.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that the USA and Japan get to finish their pokedex (except Celebi but Japan got that with Colosseum I think) while the rest of the world has to suffer. It's been 3 years with 7 games released and we STILL cant finish our pokedex! Just stupid in my opinion.

Not true. RBY and GSC were able to complete their pokedex's, if you know how to catch Mew.

well, teh EON ticket thing is true, I read that in lots of places. You can give EON tickets by mixing records with Ruby or Saphire up to 100 times from the game the card was originally scanned into. The games that get their ticket FROM your game, however, cannot pass their ticket along. As for the other tickets, I am not sure, but I don't think you can mix records from those games to any other game, so if you were lucky enough to get those tickets, I don't think they can be passed onto any other game (although if someone knows how to do it, or knows of a link that tells you how to get those tickets with certain devices, PLEASE Pm me! I'm BEGGING you!)

But here's a question, how were you able to get Celebii in GSC outside of Japan? I mean, I don't have those games, but out of curiousity how were you able to get it? Thanks!

Cheat in the GS ball. That's the only way I believe.

Oh, and official events of course.

Yup, I got Celebi from a Nintendo event. It was the last event which has been held in this country and that was 6 years ago.

Yah, I had to restart my Blue version so I could do the Mew cheat just to get it. Also, i'm talking about RS-on, where you cant finish your Pokedex without an AR. The 7 games being R/S/E/FR/LG/Col/XD...

Its annoying, the pokédex is one of the things i really enjoy doing in these games, and when legitimately I can't finish it, it really bugs me.. Also for the record, in the UK we actually had to buy pokémon channel just to get jirachi...

Yup, same for Australia. Jeez that was a crappy game though. Jirachi was the main reason I bought it but found out I could trade it in (sort of) with my Mario Golf (crap game too, dont buy it) and got a Limited Zelda Collection's Edition with Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on GCN. The music rocks for them, I've always loved Zelda music.

so, basically no one knows if the *thing* you can use to get the tickets in Fire Red and Leaf Green will actually make the tickets work in Fire Red or Leaf Green, NOR does anyone know of where I can find a way to make this same *thing* give me the tickets for Emerald and make them work?

If i recall... you can send tickets from FR/LG/Eto other fr/lg/e carts for the mystic and aurora tickets... thats how they did it at the deoxys event over here... still, that requires knowing people with the tickets... bah... lousy gamefreak!

so, wiat, what you're saying is, if I can get the tickets to work in Fire Red/LEaf Green, I might be able to send them to my Emerald game? Do you happen to remember how? (Because I know you can't mix records with FR/LG) because maybe even though I might not be able to get teh mystic or aurora tickets to work in FR/LG, perhaps I can trick the game by sending the tickets to Emerald and making it think that the tickets are legit and giving me access to the islands. It's a long shot I know, but since no one seems to know whether or not a cheater can get the tickets to work, this is kinda my only shot and getting workable tickets.

You need to use the wirless link and 2 gameboys... Using mystery gift, go into wonder cards, if you have a legit wonder card with the mystic or aurora ticket you can send it to other people

OH yeah, those wonder card things. I was wondering what those were. Well, I guess there's no code for those things, so I won't be sending any cards to myself. You know, I'm beginning to wonder if Maybe Pokemon isn't as popular as Nintendo makes them out to be, I mean, the giveaways are less and less as the years go by, there's fewer and fewer ways to get pokemon (and some arent' even offered at all) and Nintendo doesn't even sell the odd accesory (IE, Pokemon Box) unless it's through their own single store in New York. If you're gonna give something out, I don't know why you don't spread it out a little more for everyone to have access to.

Its a thought really... Pokémon is very popular yet they do very little to please all their fans... Maybe the costs of holding the events doesn't work out... I mean, you have to have people working at the events, hire out centres etc, unless you are actually going to charge for these things it isn't exactly cost effective for them really...

no, that's true, but they don't really have to go that route. I mean, wasn't sending out the e-cards to stores and through the magazine cheaper than holding events? Also they actually go out of their way to take out the e-reader compatible portions of the games (like coloseum, fire Red or Leaf Green or Emerald) because the e-reader gets discontinued (even though you can still buy it at several stores as well as the Ruby/Saphire battle e-cards, but oh well) and they send enough promotional materials, display units and demos around to the various stores, so couldn't they simply set up some wonderspot transmitters (I'm sure they'd be very small) and just send them around to largers cities and/or areas or something? That's gotta be cheaper than actually holding events. But then again, that's just me. As soon as I can find some codes to give me the tickets and make them work for sure, then I'll stop whining! :D

RLRL

Well at least you get that... they never released the e-reader in the UK... if I remember, there are supposed to be perks of all the nintendo wi-fi hotspots such as demos etc... so chances are we will not have this problem soon... i hope so at least
