10 Fanfics getting good advice is hardly a reason to pick your *** up, come here and act all arrogant and boasting. If you keep going like this I've received better comments than you ever will. 9 pages of comments, 80% approximately over 8/10. The Empty Master won half the bloody awards at the last Fanfic awards we held in the old boards. I can assure you the way you're going the only award you're going to get is Most Pwned Member at next year's Pokeschool Forum Awards, 2006. And this, the Most Pwned Moment.
Now, if you say something like that, and end with "Excuse my purposeful arrogance", how can you not vote for Prae!? Again, Prae wins with a landslide.

I am not quite positive, but I think I have a good picture of it.
Last time Lugiasian hosted one of these, and the question of "Best Moderator" came into place. It seems that Nem was feeling a bit 'jealous' or 'offended' (quoted from Linkachu) for not being picked.
I know, that seemed very... illogical. That's why I said I am not positive about it.

However, I am pretty sure no one will take this to the heart - that much... and the mods should definitely be 'cool' with this. I hope. I personally think it will not happen again, and Sally will automatically take care of it when it does... so go nominate and vote... ^^

I dont know why anyone would want to take this too seriously, it's all in fun that's all. People shouldnt get jealous over these and everyone has their own opinions about other members. I know there are some members here which I like more than others but that's only because I have posted more with them than others. I dont mind if I dont get picked for the things which I put myself in, and others shouldnt mind either if they dont get selected. Like Blastoise said, they are only members opinions and not actual fact...

Personal opinions play a huge roll in the way people react too each other on the forums. It is actually how we interact and deal with the “real world” (if you will). We make judgmental accusations based upon what we see / learn about a person through the short time we are with them *sometimes that can even happen the moment you come across them for the first time*, and also from past experiences with people who tend too either look / act / behave like them.

But we are not talking about that here really. We are taking the time to have some fun and show our respect for some of the members here. If you are not “nominated” that does not mean you are not appreciated. Sometimes those that are not mentioned are the ones people remember the most and appreciate the most, for they are not just someone who can do one or two things around here, they are the one people can talk too normally and have a friendly conversation with ((I am using this as an example of one way)).

So do not let this fun-loving nomination election … thing … take the better part of you. Have fun, enjoy yourself, and show this community that you care for it. Interaction is the best way to keep this place alive and kicking, and doing something like this helps in that aspect (in my opinion).

I will be sending in my nominations when I get the chance. I will start working on it after this is posted, but it might not be sent in till sometime later today or even tomorrow.

I would assume they are not the same. But those would be hard to nominate for people tend to change them often. But if they were to be referred to what the persons’ current avatar / signature was, then it would be alright, but what it they changed it during this nomination deal? You spelled that correctly Blastoise. Gibson is my official, legal, and rightful last name. It is also a really common name, not to mention the name that Gibby derived from.

When I noticed that I was nominated for this, I had to give a slight chuckle about it. I never participated in nay of the logical / rational conversations, for the reason that I cannot express my way out of a paper bag. I suck at politics and religion, so I try to stay away from them.

But I cannot go against the masses. I guess that since I was nominated for this, and apparently won, I will take the award with pride. It must just be me for I never saw myself as a rational / logical person. *giggle*

Wow. I have to say I'm surprised (no really) at the writing landslide... I haven't written FanFiction for yonks, so I guess I did expect some others to get high votes, but I guess not. Ok, my newest story Two For One is damn good, the best story I've written (subtle plug there, link in sig :P), but FanFiction... Oh well, I'm not complaining. :p

As for most creative writer... I guess I just write whatever comes into my head. I create an idea - sometimes it just comes to me, sometimes someone suggests it, sometimes it's something in my life that prompts it, as is the case with Two For One (HINT! :P). Right now I have an absolute genius of an idea, if I may say so myself (but not just me either :P), if I can write it properly (which, if it works, you'll see why - there's a truckload of commonsensical, logical, practical and logistical problems in actually putting that idea onto paper and making it work...). Silent Love, the working title is, currently.

And critiques, well. The post quoted by Blastoise and Linkachu says it all (Fanfiction Forum, first locked topic ^^). But, even though I'm very tough, take my reviews into account and take note of them and remember them when you next write, and you will get better very quickly. As for The Empty Master, I don't think it was even 9 pages of replies. But, I remember it was close and it did get the most views and a close second in most replies to fanfics (both of which stand from then until now, I believe...). And again going back to that post... Reading it again, that was a funny post. XD... As I promised though, that is SO going to next year's awards for Most Pwned Moment and Most Pwned Member. :p In fact, I've even bookmarked it. And, it has its own folder, marked, "2006 PS AWARDS". :rolleyes:
