Calling All Aussies!

This is possibly one of the stupidest things a person can do, but oh well im a crazy person in general....

In February I am travelling down to Australia for 2 weeks to compete in the world championships for lifesaving... However... I have very few events aside from relays... Therefore I will be spending so little time actually at the competition its laughable... Therefore, anyone from Melbourne that wants to get in contact with me, i welcome it to be honest... It would be awesome to meet any of you, even just for a few hours or something...

So yeah, thats all i have to say, add me/talk to me on msn if you're from the area and then we can work it out... (well if i can afford it, might still have to cancel!)

Oww, I live in Sydney. We have the best beaches by far, Melbourne is average :p If you came to Bondi Beach (NSW most famous beach I think) I could meet you there cause I live 5 mins away...

Well I spoke to my coach today about worlds... this totally suck btw...

Basically I was supposed to be doing 4 pool events out there, and 2 beach, whats happened now is my coach has to go on business as of the 2nd day of competition, meaning we are 1 man short in our team, throwing me out of 3 of my pool events as they were relays, leaving me doing only 1 pool event which was the rope throw with my brother (literally an event, which if my bro does correctly, lasts < 10 seconds)
So basically I would be going out there for 2 beach events... The Beach Sprint, which i haven't been able to train for (hey its freezing on the beaches over here) and the Surf Swim, which I haven't been training for since October...
So yeah, my dad didn't see the point in sending me out there for it... and therefore I can't go... Which yes it totally sucks especially as i was working out all the things I want to do while im out there (smuggle back a few koalas, "get friendly" with the locals, buy some saltrock stuff at low prices, etc etc...) But alas it is merely a dream... totally sucks... but oh well....

I dont think you could smuggle back a few koalas cause they are quite psycho, lol. All the action is in Sydney. Even seen our locals at Bondi Beach? Much better than what Melbourne has to offer. Also the good thing (for you, bad for us) is that we have an uberlow exchange rate so anyone from ANYWHERE can get stuff very cheap from here. Me having a British passport and all, i'm thinking of moving to UK, working there for a few years and coming back Super Rich! :D

Watch out... house prices are terrible right now in the UK... fortunately my brother is still looking for another tenant =P Seriously the whole damned country is so expensive for most things, its unreal... if you worked out here and didn't spend all your money on housing (and food stupidly enough) you would actually be laughing when you got back to australia, damned expensive country...
