The Dark World are broken in many ways. You know that some of them will be limited.
This thread will discuss the Dark World monsters and their amazing power.

Dark world cards are good but way too over rated. In a dark world deck they can be pretty good but otherwise they are horrible. Most of them make horrible top decks and their effects are too situational, especially in advanced. If you are the one discarding goldd or silva then you don't get the good effects are are stuck with horrible hand advantage and some decent beatsticks. Cyber Dragon is much better than Goldd or Sillva because it can automatically be summoned.
Once again...Dark World Swarm decks can be killer but on their own the dark world monsters aren't BROKEN or UNGODLY...breaker, DDWL, DDA, Dark Hole etc are the most broken cards in advanced imo, Dark world will be too situational and will eventually be overcome. Chaos still rules traditional(damn CCCC) and Dark world will not be so good in ADV. because of not Mirage of nightmare, Delinquent Duo, Graceful etc..

it'll never happen.

This is a difficult to say, we would have to wait till they are used in tournies before we can assume they will be a CC. Personally I think people are going to go with Goldd and Silva and thats about it espcially with Don Zaloog running around at present. The deck type itself is very powerful, it would certainly be interesting to see if anyone can use it to win.

Ilike Dark world decks but some of the support cards (cheerful coffin for instance)will be limited.

There are some counters to this type of deck. First off has to be Royal Oppression. It may cost 800 to negate a special summon, but it could be worth it if the monster is powerful and has a powerful effect. Banisher of the Light is very effective against Dark World decks. Special Hurricane is costly card but could help there as well.

The release of Treasure Map and the un-banning of Gracful Charity just made Dark World very sexy.
I love the sexy Dark World.

Yeah with GC back in the game, DW has become even more leathal than before. My goodness we are going to see alot of DW running about the next 6 months.

what does silva do?
If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by a card effect, Special Summon this card to your side of the field. If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, your opponent selects 2 cards in their hand, and returns them to the bottom of their Deck in any order.
I definitely think GC will make Dark World more powerful but you don't get the most out of these monsters by discarding them yourself so I’m skeptical on if it will become top tier or not.

i used to run a dw deck, but i felt that it could be better with a couple "powerfull" monsters. (above 2300 attack) it was great for getting monsters to the field fast, but other than that, it wasnt really that great. i tried with gracefull in my dw deck, but that still didnt put any more luster in it

Yeah, I too currently run dark world, and Graceful Charity didn't neccesarily give my deck a "boost", but yeah it helps out in a lot of situations.

Graceful does help Dark World out. It can be very lethal if you have a couple of Goldds or Sillvas or even Browws in your hand. But I don't like the way EVERYONE has jumped on the dark world Bandwagon and made CC Dark World decks just because of ONE card. True DW Duelists like myself now feel cheap and CC-ish when using DW. And now everyone side decks against DW too. And that sucks. But I do like the fact that DW is finally getting the attention that it always deserved.

thats true enough marz. i stoped competivatly using dark world because everyone automatically thinks when they hear darkworld "LIKE OMG, R U AN EFFING n00b?" so it is kinda embarassing nowa days to use darkworld.

well its not that they arent good they are amazing if u can effectively utilize there effects which can sometimes be ify its like the problem with burn decks for so long it was they could mostly always win game one but not game 2 so when ure opponent side decks there answers to ure DW ure kinda screwed like for exampl there is about 5 different effective side deck cards against it, like macro cosmos, ure own dark world, end of anubis, banisher of light, royal oppresion, so really until EOJ comes out i think dark world may have potential just not in game 2 cause once they side deck against wats gunna stop end of anubis or royal opression cause DW isnt accustomed to stopping these cards so think about that before u call it CC cause i still think its far from it

I highly doubt the dark world monsters would get limited to one. Maybe semi limited at most.

Dark world , is just evil,.. in 1 or 2 good turns, you can win a duel. sooo damn easy... if you have the means and intelligence to build a effective dark world deck. you can not only wipe out your opponets cards on the feild. with cards like. gren , kahkki, goldd, silva, rein. but for added support you can draw cards to your hearts content and thin your deck enough to get other useful cards. anyone that under estimates a good dark world deck or for that matter a good dark world duelist. is a fool. and complete and utter fool.
now with that being said,. look at the support that dark world gets.
Dragged down to the grave,, if you have this in your hand and lets say a goldd or rein, lets just say the effect of it going off would apply as if it was your opponet discarding a card from your hand to the grave, because thats what they are doing.,
the cheerful coffin. discard 3 brows draw 3, or discard 1 bronn , or 2... the choice is yours..
card destruction,.,, enough said.
morphing jar, enough said
dark world dealings, draw 1 card, discard.. thin deck and or also special summon, or destroy, or draw.
card of safe return, send goldd , silva or bronn, draw some cards.
dark world lightning, destroy a facedown monster, or maybe a trap, and apply dark world.,
the forces of dark world, get them dark world monsters back in your hand.
gateway to dark world , this in itself is like a mini call of the haunted for that defence you just might need.
dark deal, negate a spell and let your opponet select 1 card from your hand to send to the graveyard.. .......
and there is a rumor of another dark world card coming , called dark world road, where it allows you to look through your deck and place a dark world monster in your hand and send a card from your hand to the grave...
and for added support. dark necrofear and dark ruler ha des. , add maybe 1 or 2 snipe hunters , and own your opponet. note. you cant apply dark worlds effect due to snipe hunter, since it is a cost. :(

Dragged down to the grave doesnt work whit Reign, even if your opponent picks your card, you activated the effect, so... No second effect whit DW guys or no Reign

correction. it dose work. since it is your opponet who is discarding from your hand. dragged works with goldd and silva and reign, check the rulings.

Dark World can be powerful but its not broken kind powerful. Most seen big boys have 2300 and thats less what monarchs have so you must get them out and attacking before opponent gets any his/her monarchs out. Dark World relays on two things, speed and discarding althought little luck dosen't hurt either.
